Hello, potential Civil Warriors.

As there has been some confusion regarding team affiliations, Demuirge would like to post a new list today for Team Cap and Team Iron Man. Steve Rogers (First Avenger)'s "Shield Bash" and Iron Man's "The Winning Team" only work with characters that are on the updated list below.

Hi everyone,

Are you ready to choose a side? Here are some helpful Affiliations details:

Starting with the Civil War event, heroes in Marvel Puzzle Quest will be assigned to either Team Captain America or Team Iron Man. Both Steve Rogers (First Avenger) and Iron Man (Mark XLVI) have mechanics around team members being on their side and certain missions in the Civil War event will require using specific members from a team. Additionally, each side will have their own set of Powered-Up heroes. Heroes are only Powered-up when they are fighting on their side.

Below is a list of the Heroes on each side (Buffed heroes in the first run of the event are bolded).

        Thank you for this! I'd just published a thread asking for this information, as well as some other information regarding the structure of the event.

        The more information that we have about the structure in advance of the event, the better we can plan as an alliance.

        The two Jeans are for all intents and purposes different people, and Uncanny Cyclops represents a huge change in philosophy that he's gone through since since the 90s.

        Aw, when I saw Silver Surfer was Team Iron Man (because... reasons), I was hoping he'd be guaranteed a buff. Phoenix is still the only 5* to ever be buffed (outside of Balance of Power), then.

        Is it just me or is Spider-Man missing from this list? All his versions are showing Team Iron-Man in the game...

        Yeah, but Jean and Cyke both show no affiliation in game so I guess this is the best list to use. It's interesting. If going for Iron Man I'll miss switch.

        Not true - Green Goblin was buffed in the latest running of nefarious foes.

        Also, if you look at the lists, both new 5* are buffed for the event as well.

        probably due to having:

        Hawkeye (all 2 versions)
        Human torch (all 2 versions)
        Falcon (all 2 versions)
        Himself (all 20 versions)
        Storm (all 60 versions)
        Wolverine (all 9837507307501740987210 versions)

        So lots of names on the teams, but too many will be too busy changing costumes left and right to actually fight

        Yeah this list doesn't match what's in-game. OML only lists Heroes and Beast is Avengers/Heroes.

        I just looked for buffed 4*'s and it looked pretty unbalanced.

        Quake - to new for most to have
        Fury - one of the oldest 4*'s, many will have maxed
        HB - one of the older and stronger 4*'s, many will have maxed

        Punisher - to new for most to have
        FalCap - HA HA HA!
        AntMAn - Meh

        Considering Civil War run 1 has Winter Soldier essential, wouldn't it make sense for everyone to play Team Cap?
