I never really get to 1300 but seem to fly to 1000. Just three quick questions.

1) What slice tends to be better for scoring highly?
2) What method is best to use to hit 1300?
3) What team is generally best? My top roster levels are below

Old Man Logan - 2/2/2 - lVL 345
Hulkbuster - Lvl 274
Jean Grey - Lvl 273
Pheonix JG - 2/1/0 - Lvl 258
5* Spidey - 1/0/0 - Lvl 255
Thoress - 5/3/4 - lvl 250
Carnage - 5/1/5 - lvl 233
Nick Fury - 4/5/4 - 200

I have most 3 stars fully covered. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

The best tip I can give you is to get on LINE and join shield check rooms.

Exactly this. 1300 is pretty easy in any slice. Easiest are probably 1, 3, and 4 in general.

Join Line and you will be able to do it by climbing with between 12 and 9 hours left and using a 3/8/3 shield combo.

Line helps but isn't really necessary. Until your OML is scary enough to be a true deterrent, you need to spend HP and ISO to get there.

You need to start early so you can get a few shield hops in. Once you fly to 1000, shield and start looking for new targets but don't hit anyone yet. Wait until you get 2 or 3 targets worth at least 50 points each. If you're lucky, you can find a cupcake or 2. If you do, don't hit them right away - that's bad form and gets people angry at you unnecessarily. OML/JG/Hulkbuster is good enough for some quick hops. I wouldn't try to hit more than 2 people before shielding again. If you get the right targets, you can gain 100-150 points in each hop. So 2 or 3 hops from 1000 to 1300.

Yes, this can take quite a bit of HP to hop that many times, but that 25 CP is worth it. Don't get greedy and try hitting 3 people. Nothing is worse than seeing you've been hit 3 times during your last fight.

Slice 4. Get as close as you can and either float or shield. It gets easier the more oml covers you have.

You should be able to do it with just two shields.

I personally use slice 3 or 5. Slice 4 has a lot of big guns that mean big points, but it also means a higher chance of you being hit during your hops. I tend to get hit pretty hard when I'm in slice 4.

    1) I have experience in 1, 3 and 4. don't know much about 2 or 5. I would rank them for points = 4, 3, 1. I've heard 2 and 5 are much lower (that's why I haven't ventured there much), but are easier to place high. I've heard 1K making t10 in a vet bracket in S2.
    2) I'm no liner like others, so what I do is join early. climb to a floating point (usually 600-700) and make a big push anywhere from 11 to 20 hours from event end. then start a 3/8/3/... shield schedule. I usually use 3-4 shields per event. it makes a difference when the big boys for each different slice are active. 3 is villains and 4 is x men. 1 is a conglomeration and is more heavily filled with big boys during the weekend events. my pushes usually get me to anywhere from 1000-1200. I usually end up anywhere from 1450 to 1800.
    3) don't have any experience with logan (yellow would be great - mine is 2/-/5). jeanbuster is good enough to get you there, but logan and jean might be better (barring boosted).

This is great help. Is OML and JG pretty good with any 3 star event or is it OML and a boosted 4 star?

    I like slice 4. I typically run a JeanBuster or OML (4/5/0; level 345) + boosted 4*.

I can usually cruise up to 1000-1100 without taking too much damage. I hop from there and it usually requires a 3-8-3 shield schedule.

I don't use Line and I'm sure one could do it quicker or with fewer shields but I'm generally risk averse with regards to taking point losses.

Boosted 4*s are pretty strong. Since the name of the game above 1k is speed, you should use whoever gets the job done fastest.

I went straight to 1300, no shield hopping, almost every single PVP with a L345 (2/3/1) OML + 4*JG (max) or HB (max) depending on featured character. Shard 4
