sigh. last 3 runs progression has gone from 28K to 32K to 35K. for those willing to put up with a heroic, can't be too generous now... I hate that the one thing that progresses my roster (iso) drives me to play pve. really need a break and we have the busiest days of the week right around the corner.0

let users slowly progress to a roster with 80+ characters, then lock 90% out, leave only a random handful to play with.
could you run this as a 14 days event?

For me the usage of a limited roster is not a big deal. It allows for potentially fun new combination and I see it as an mean to use the character I don't usually use.
However, when i started playing yesterday night, I remembered how long just opening the sub was and I didn't have it it me to bother with that so I'm skipping the event.
Therefore I do feel that, for me at least, the problem with heroics is how long and annoying it is to open the sub (heroics are not the only culprits though).0 -

Pssst: gsbw may be a bit slow, but she's one of the very best board control characters in the game. Every one of her abilities give you an opportunity to reshape the board and remove pesky enemy tiles.0 -

First run was fairly smooth. Used mostly xfw + gsbw + lazy cap.
In all but one match I was able to collect 12 of purple or blue or red before a dangerous CD could resolve (i did have one ugly match that required 2 healthpacks). It wasn't an ideal setup, but it was able to handle opponents up to 260 or so without trouble. We'll see how it does against 290+ enemies when my,scaling cranks up later in the sub.0 -

Precisely! And Loki giving priority to purple and green while stealing your AP, while you have to align yellow to avoid Muscle CDs going off... phew! Anyway, not saying I cannot beat it, it's just very painful. My top row is Shulk, GSBW, 2* Captain Marvel and CStorm. Considering they pretty much define my scaling, thy have to carry the load too...0 -

She-Hulk's blue can steal enemy strike tiles, and at 9 blue, it's not terribly expensive, not to mention her AOE red has a good chance at destroying special tiles on the bottom couple rows.0 -

Yes, tile theft is incredibly strong against muscles. Another decent tactic with a limited roster.0 -
I've still been using Jean grey but without SWitch or IM40 to speed her up , it's not quite the heath pack saver it was last event.
But I have been using Capt Marvel as an accelerator for Ghost Rider with some fun results. It's not great on health packs either because Marvel is tanking so much, but his red adds up damage quick once its gets going and it is very satisfying to fire off a Penance Stare at 150% (4 covers) against a AOE goon like Pyro or Muscle (AOE attacks triple the payback of the Stare).
I'm not caring about placement this time, just need ISO ISO ISO, so its been fun so far just playing when I can, only grinding on the CP nodes. Already at 20813, so progression CP shouldn't be an issue.0 -

2* Captain Marvel and 2* Hawkeye aren't the worst pairing, since team-up matches don't trigger Mischief and can also overwrite tiles. It also has a pretty decent chance to trigger Speed Shot.0 -
glad I don't have to place well here. not sure i'll be pushing for the cp. mainly just farming and will see where it gets me. I was right, jean/xf/cap was my main team. not great. jean and cap are strong, but not fast and the few times I got SS off, it was on purple, so that wasn't great. grinding this well will require some health packs.0
