So I need some advice. Should I sell my 011 HtD or hang on to him? I tried a maxed on my sandbox account and felt like he was pretty meh although his purple is pretty good.

Roster slots are 1k for me and I hate holding on to a character, especially since I didn't get the green so if he is in the clash of the titans rotation against punisher again I have next to no chance

The Howard in the Clash of the Titans event was a "Special" event as a part of Duck Season. It was never confirmed or denied that Howard was a one-off, so I read between the lines that Duck Season will show up again. How often remains to be seen, but it's not the last we've seen of Howard I don't think. What I do think (to circle back to Clash of the Titans) is that Howard will not be in regular rotation for it, but there will be another special Clash during the next Duck Season. If you want to hold on to Howard for the collectability, or to add covers for future Duck Season, there you go. If it doesn't matter that much if you don't anticipate "needing" Howard for the meta of the game, then sell him. The big "if" is that we don't know anything about future plans for Howard, whether they exist or not.

Related to the note at your end, you can beat Big Pun with Howard at 0/0/1. It's hard because you have to keep matching purple to stay invisible, and match away Punisher's green so he can't hurt you. It's a grind, it's not fun, but it's possible. I beat him with Howard at 0/1/2 and leveled a little so I could survive two hits from Punisher's green but it took many tries due to horrible cascade luck; some folks said they managed with very little effort on the first or second try.

2nd season of Dino included a Dino PVP, Dino DDQ, and I think Dino as essential in PVE.

To do better next year (some assume this will run more than once a year), keep it.

If you are willing to shrug off those three events once a year - sell it.

I sold him the minute he was no longer an essential.

If you're saving him just to do his events once a year then get rid. If you like him keep him.

Dd, bagman, and HtD should all be free roster slots if they are not going to be available year round/suck

    Free batman would be awesome.

(DD [Devil Dino], bagman, and HtD [Howard the Duck] is the translation I'm assuming here)

He's useful against Carnage...that's enough reason for me to keep him...I hate Carnage
