Hi all

I would like to discuss the changes this expansion brought to the table gameplay wise.

- Leveling planeswalker
10 more leveled gave a couple benefit that impact gameplay.
First of it all mana gain for primary color increased by 1
This change alone made all decks faster and slow cards more affordable to cast.
Also mana gem transformation(if it includes your main color) became more powerful.
Nissa got the best outcome out of it but all other classes can benefit.
As a side effect mana gem denial if opponent color(ingest mainly) is really powerful.

Leveling introduced also new deck composition limits for creatures/support/spell meaning more freedom in deck building. Finally I can play more spells in nissa or make a valid support Gideon deck.

- Cards
Since there is another post about mechanics we could discuss here which new effects color have at their disposal.

Green: got another ramp + heal.
Another creature producing mana4/4 haste elf)
Got creature resurrecter(mura something)

White: got creature kill if attack > or equal 4. This covers I think almost all creatures that are a threat.
Only one I can think is unaffected right now is the new unvlockable vampire Drana that buffs creatures but in a couple turns it becomes targetable.
Also got a couple ways to resurrect creatures.

Blue: got mind control XD
Also if prism array has more than 2 shields is probably op. Whenever ANY player landfalls disable opponent 1st creature AND draw 3 cards????!!!

Black: if got vampires that slowly deal damage and heal you. Some of them get buffed or deal damage when you heal.
Too bad orb of warding does not heal anymore could have been good sinergy.
Also got a 5 mana awaken kill. You can keep it on bottom till you need it then bring front hoping to not waste too much mana on awaken. Having another non conditional kill is great.

Red: it was my understanding that everyday heard...
Heard what?
Akoum firebird is the word! icon_lol.gif
It will come back to life and having haste makes it like a 8 damage landfall.
Akoum hell kite too is nice for dealing with opponent creatures.
Honorable mention to serpentine spike for its versatility and ingest for mana denial. If your deck can benefit from void gem it is even better.

I missed some cards for sure.
Now it is your turn: What do you think?
