    * That's a lot of black covers coming up in DDP... icon_eek.gif
    * Ray didn't get blue Jean Grey from Howard Crash. I guarantee it.
    * That you guys cannot explain the optimal clear structure on old PVE or new PVE means these changes aren't affecting you.
    * Ian's explanation of GSBW is perfectly comulent.
    * I love that Ian had no idea about character placmement for tanking, and then calls it unnecessarily complex (or something like that). It's strategy my man. It's what allows you to stick Hulk up front and Patch in the back to Hulkbomb. Or stick Capt. Marvel up front to tank to collect massive amounts of B/R for someone who is actually useful. Or, if somehow, your OML meatshield is tied a color with someone else, you want to have a way to determine who tanks, because the difference between tanking with OML and tanking with anyone else is huge.
    * Craig's Darth Vader "alliance" quote.

To respond to Xaos72's dilemma, I'd say sell all the 3* covers and either save the iso or invest some in Rulk and Hulkbuster (you have both of their key colors at 5, so they're usable, especially in weeks when they're buffed).

I still have a bunch of 3* characters I haven't championed yet, and while I'd love to move them all up, it just isn't practical at this point. But if you're determined to champion one more 3*, here's my 2 cents: you've made it this far without bothering to max any of those characters; getting a character you don't care about up past 166 isn't going to change your life much. Instead of looking at the value of the 3* character itself, look at the value of the 4* they give covers for. In that context I think it's between Quicksilver (Iceman) and Vision (Cyclops).

Was a great episode but liking the new PvE was bad... did any of you try to hit progression? im guessing not because it was a boring grind fest and not enjoyable at all.
Was a great show with some good laughs but you need to play the test events harder so you can learn why they are so bad.

Yup, I still have 12 3*s to champion but I'm too busy championing my 3rd and 4th 4* characters instead. I'll get back to them someday. Maybe if they every reverse the 3* nerf.

I finished 104 in radical sun so not great but nor horrible , I was an,e to get the CP rewards so I did my share of grinding .

I still stand by that the new system works better for me.
I can play when I have time and do 6 clears at full points.
I was never able to do that may full point clears under the old way.

That's because doing that many full point clears isn't possible in the old format for 24 hour subs... This is why people shouldn't commend a system as being better when they don't understand how both work completely.

The discussion about the new scaling test does make me wish you guys had a competitive player on the cast. It would be nice to be able to hear someone talking from that point of view.

At the least it would bring up your win percentage on the 4* DDQ fights. icon_lol.gif

Yeah, as someone else mentionned, you couldnt do 6 full clears before. I'm fairly sure the points given from 1 clear was lowered to compensate for that. So you really don't gain anything from the new system, it just feels like it but it ends up taking just more time for the same points and lower placement. I don't see how that's a positive.

What you gain is the ability to play as much as you want, when you want, and that is something I personally appreciate greatly. But I'm someone who only goes for progression for the most part. I do acknowledge that this new system does screw people who go for placement. Kind of ironic that the reason it screws folks going for placement is because there are some crazy players out there that are willing to sacrifice their lives to play at that level. Perhaps they deserve the rewards in that case? Regardless, I'm all for removing placement rewards from PVE entirely.
