I thought they had at least seen some sense when they swapped out OBW in the first sub, but apparently that was too quick to clear and they had to fix it.0 -
I'm still amazed at how many people have really high scores. I'm at 6/7 or 7/7 completion on all subs, spread out over the two days and I may not crack top 100.... Rough0

I would guess that more people than usual will be grinding this one since you only have to do it twice in a 4 day event with the way they do the subs, so they will be at 7/7 and then doing 2 hours of clears.0 -
Loaner mode strategy that has been working for me (at decent speed):
Prioritize , then , then . Attack Cage first. Activate Mr. F . Keep the counter alive by changing priorities ( , in this order), this should deal enough damage to ignore Luke's defense. At some point you can incidentally use Storm's .
I prefer the approach of killing blue-Vision-style than relying on Storm's powers. They're expensive, she's fragile, you're facing OBW, and you can't put all those useless and tiles to good use if you ignore Mr. F...0 -

Doc Ock, Ultron Prime, and Carnage?!?! Seriously? Against Mr. Fantastic?
That looks like no CP for me...0 -
Steve Rogers and IM40 do a good job bailing out Mr F. Recharge, stun Carnage when you have blue AP then just prioritize yellow for more red and blue AP and get as many shields flying as you can. I think after Carnage was dead I kept Doc Oc stunned for the rest of the fight, killing Ultron first then Oc.0

Found it painless using SW and Cap Marvel. Both their stuns are quick to charge up (and do damage) and you can lock Carnage down before he gets annoying.
Mr F waves his arms around now and then and the girls get it done.0 -

I cleared that node with and since rag's red is very cheap so you get 2 shots just from the recharge, 3-5 if you gather the red app then I used the red to spam carnage and finished him off with rag's green/iron man's blue
nobody of their team got the chance to use their abilities....maybe i got lucky with the yellow ap0 -
Why is the top reward so high? Again?
I did 6/7 or 7/7 in the first sub and I'm at 4/7 in the second one and I'm still 9k away... This isn't supposed to be a full time job.... I'm also barely top 100 for my effort and will soon fall back out I'm sure...0 -
I have found the carnage doc oc and ultron prime node fairly easy. mind you my Mr F is only 1-0-2 and I'm using 2 champ lvl 4* in rhulk and cyke. But I will get enough green (18) to fire off a decent damage power then once carnage is almost gone I'll fire blue from cyke to complete him then his red and it's pretty much match over cause along the way I'll save up enough red and white to fire off 2 cyke red and down doc oc and prime in 2 shots back to back. And I've done optimal clears each day and I'm sitting in a t5 spot right now in the first slice. Only time I didn't do optimal was before bed last night I cleared with an extra hour before it was full points and still managed to have 2 more optimal clears left today plus the grind down to 1 point later tonight for a secure t5 finish or even possibly t2 finish. And I don't even do a final grind on the first day for a complete grind either. I'm maybe about 2.5k behind 1st place sitting in 3rd currently with 2 grinds plus final clears for it. Speaking of it I guess I should go and see if I can clear the nodes now and see where that puts me.0

I'd like to thank Quebbster here. Great advice, and I took another look at the node. Cranked some ISO into Steve (Now L130), and took in him with GSBW (L121). Took a few healthpacks to do it, but 6 clears later...
Thanks Quebbster!0 -
The progression here is making it very clear why I actually prefer the new method over the old...
As this 4 day event was over a weekend, and between work and real life I cannot schedule my clears to meet the 8 hour refresh.
So although I did 7 clears on sub 1, it was WAY below optimal (maybe as low as 50-60% of possible points)... and my clears on sub 2 will also be sub-optimal (although slightly less awful).
As a result, I am at 5 clears on Sub 2...
1st was at full points (but 10 hours in to the sub) - Only did one clear in as I new I would adversely affect my later clears... but had the time to do maybe a 2nd at that time.
2nd was at full points about 9 hours later
3rd was immediately after 2nd (well, not immediately, there was slight recharge time between each clear as I did them in Hard to Easy and then Easy to Hard)... leaving a 16 hour recharge
4th clear was 3or 4 hours before full recharge
5th clear was shortly after 4th (I was on my commute to work so can do 2 clears in that time, again Hard > Easy then Easy > Hard)
my 6th and 7th clears will be on my commute home tonight... but the nodes are likely to be down about 20-25% of full points for the first clear. So will likely be worth 70% (assuming 10 points for a full value clear, perfect is 18 points (10+(10-(10x20%))) and I will probably get 7 + 5 points for my clears) of possible points for two back to back clears starting at full... and this will be 4 hours before the sub ends. This will be close to the 4,500 points that are needed... maybe a 200/300 above Progression.
In the last test event, progression was at 3-4 clears per node per day. with full points I would be past this progression target by now and probably a good 25-30% higher in achieved points... which is a chunk of the way towards any additional progression requirement added to compensate for the new model.
Would the Progression have been higher in the new PVE model, almost certainly... but I reckon I am 10,000 points worse off because of the 8 hour clock for the same amount of work.0 -

The initial progression was at 19000 (august 2015). The previous run was set at 40k now they increase it to 44k.
Just because they **** up with progression this time oesn't mean that new system is better. Scaling is definetly better in new system. Progression - depends on how high it is set (it can be worse or better depends on the mood of devs). But placement is definetly worse in new system then in the old(current) one.0 -
Glad I'm not crazy for thinking this thing takes forever. I may be done with pve for a while. It feels like all I did all weekend was play this thing and wait for hp regen. I hit the max progression, but only on the last day and I'm struggling to maintain a top 100.
I also thought it was odd that the rewards went 11-20 place for two covers instead of to 25 like I normally remember (could be wrong)0
