    If no news just join during the last hour. you have nothing to lose, or you get lucky with a fresh bracket.

    You're right about that, a while back there was a Slice 3 vet bracket that filled with 5-10 minutes left in the event, so if the alternative is not joining at all I would strongly advise joining something with a few minutes left.

    Meanwhile in Slice 3 vet, aka. Quebbster's bracket, it's up to 927 (that's the main, sub is at 932). If there's a rush toward the end it might fill, 5.5 hours left in event, not very hopeful though.

    Yes, playing the last minute and ranking in the bottom of the leaderboard can help to have a newbie bracket another time
    (from my experience you need to tank 2-3 event in a row though)

    Slice 3 vet now at 978, a little over an hour left in the event. So close and yet... so far.

    Thanks for the info. Gives me a bit of hope that it will fill before the end. If you can update with 10-15 minutes left or if it fills before it would be appreciated greatly.
