Ok, a few areas of advice that I could use from the community. First of all a quick rundown of my situation (roster in my sig), I have scaled back playing MPQ a lot due to various factors (lack of progress in the game is one big key) so that I only play DP dailys and reach 4000 on season score. I used to play PvE a lot but the grind became too much. The new system is an improvement for me as did play the tests (not the most recent one though) and I fared better except the 25 CP token seemed way to high in several of the events and that was the only real reason I played PvE. In my current situation I probably only earn around 5500 to 6000 Iso per day now.

1.) I will have Hulkbuster maxed within 2 weeks (I always pre-configure my roster based on set rewards and planned iso expenditure two weeks out so I don't have to change the roster tracker only once every three or four weeks). I have also maxed out 22 3* (the best ones of course). I have stopped maxing others out as they are generally the characters I don't use as much. My question is after I max out Hulkbuster (and a few other 4* that don't take much ISO), what should I do with my ISO? The way I see it, I can max 3* characters out and get some progress and long game rewards (one up front random token and eventual 4* covers...long way off) or hoard ISO and wait until I eventually get enough 4* covers and use it on 4* characters. I don't anticipate a flood of 4* covers so keeping up with 4* ISO going forward shouldn't be an issue unfortunately, which goes back to why I have scaled down playing since I never received 4* very much even when I played a lot.

2.) If I do start to max out 3*, should I max out the ones I like to play better or the ones who will eventually give me better 4* covers? Unfortunately the crossover of that list is pretty small - Bullseye, Quicksilver and Psylocke are the only 3* that land on both lists.

3.) I know this is probably on the forums already but approximately what level should I raise Professor X too for the old winfinite combo? I can take him to 168 but I can't seem to get a blue cover for him so right now he is useless except for the Crash of the Titans challenge but someday I expect to get some blue covers for him. I have SW at 169 (after tomorrow) and BSGW at 175. Or is my combo already broken since BSGW is higher than SW?

Both widow and witch have purple as their strongest color, so it doesn't matter which one is higher level. I actually prefer to have Switch tank since the combo still works even if she goes down. PX just needs to be at a level that keeps his blue damage below bw/sw purple damage. Mine is 166 and works fine unboosted, but if PX is boosted, the combo breaks. If PX and one of the ladies are both boosted, their blue and purple damage values are the same and the combo only works randomly. (fix this, devs!) So keep PX low.

if you anticipate playing competitively again, save the iso for the 4*s. if you think casual play will be your future more long-term, I'd max out every 3* that I enjoy playing with. and what **** said about winfinite. just remember everything is subject to adjustments. I've left my px at 145 and until the ladies get up to 190+ he'll probably just stay there.
  • I posted in the ProfX character discussion thread a little on this, but I think 120 is the magic number to keep him from generating blue even when boosted. At 192 his blue strength is 81, and 193 it jumps to 82.

As far as champing useless 3*s goes - I would just pick based on which ones you get covers for. I'm just starting to do this myself - basically holding on to 3* covers until I have the 100k ISO that I need and champing the character that I have the most covers for.

I think your 4*s should take priority over 3*s though until you have more of them champed. Your IMHB for example should get all the ISO you have once you get a cover for him, but until you have the covers, might as well continue working on 3*s.
