Which 4* to level up next?

I have a few maxed 4* HB, JG Rulk, IceMan, Cyclops and carnage.

Not sure who should be next? I have 5 covers for OML and 6 for Phoenix, but im scared levelling them will mess my scaling up, but I don't really know anything about the inner workings of scaling.

So if not them then which 4*? I was thinking kingpin for the black/yellow coverage or thing for defense?

I've done 4thor and xpool and don't really regret it. I used 4thor extensively with im40 when she was boosted. xpool is versatile and can heal and I use him with xfw some. I have a group of 4 to do next and kp and thing are both on that list along with x23 and xfw. so depending on how you view 4thor or xp, kp and thing are pretty much in line with rankings and what others have done.

Depending on which 5 covers you have on OML (need at least 1 yellow), I would put your spare ISO into him - he's a monster for many nodes of play. I suppose Kingpin is pretty versatile if you want to level him, but really, OML even with just a few covers is pretty amazing.

    Thanks for the feedback.

I have OML 1/1/3. I just don't imagine using him much on pve since I'm addicted to winfinite, and in pvp no one will be intimidated by a 330 OML.

XP and then going for XFW seems like a good combo to get.

I think you're underestimating how strong a level 330 OML with all three colors can be.

not necessarily a deterrent to full 4* players, especially with a good boosted, BUT, taking down a 330 OML with a boosted 3* team is pretty tedious (and good luck with unboosteds) and my guess is you'll get skips mostly from the boosted 3*s teams, which will automatically reduce the pool of players willing to take a shot at you. additionally, I've heard its a huge health pack saver in both pvp and pve. I plan on leveling mine just as soon as I add a yellow to my 2/-/5.

Mmm, maybe it's time to take the plunge and invest in OML, its the cheaper option too icon_razz.gif already have more than enough ISO for him, and if I level another 4* I wont really use them unless they are boosted.
  • A 330 OML will be a nice addition and won't screw up your scaling by any noticeable amount. I've had a 330 OML for a while and I don't usually use him as part of my A-Team on PvP, but he definitely does get a lot of play while climbing, and I do get skips as well. I've just recently pulled a couple more covers for Phoenix and have them both at 330 for this event. I'm interested to see how the pair does on defense.

If you're on the fence, why not just level your OML to match your maxed 4*'s at lvl 270 and try him out for a few days like that? You can see him in leveled action and without any major scaling issues, and gauge for yourself if its worth pushing further.

I'm planning on trying this myself once I get some of the newer 4*'s in fighting shape for their 4* DDQ fights.
