Losing the PvE playerbase...

The progression rewards are just getting pushed too far out recently. It used to be quite manageable to hit the 25 CP mark if you played at the optimal time marks with maybe a little more play on some nodes. Now it is getting out of hand. Here is a simple equation:

Grinding more≠More fun

    2+2 does not equal 4?

It would be good if the devs would come out and say how much playing time they think is a fair amount to expect from the player in order to reach the max progression point as it does seem like they are trying to push the amount upwards without increasing the rewards when pve already demanded more time than pvp in the first place.

I've had a similar experience. Prior to the PvE tests I don't think I missed max progression more than once in the previous year. I missed it on the first PvE test, came really close on the Juggs heroic, and I'll be missing on the Duck by about 20k.

I don't think I'm playing less. The demands have definitely increased, either by difficulty or point threshold.

I feel it's a lot for a game to ask of its players! Either you grind the pve to get the 25 cp or else you just do a little bit here and there for some iso and cp. But if you come close and then don't hit the 25 cp, it's utterly heartbreaking, which is a lame way to feel when playing what should be a fun game.

    2 things.
    1) They don't really want you to get the rewards anyway.
    2) They don't care if it's heartbreaking.

This is why the forums are bad.

I rather better rewards for nodes and progression rather lowering the score. Also, 4 star placement rewards need to be expanded to the top 100.

Instead of scaling the health, I would much rather play a smarter and smarter AI. Nothing gets more tedious than trying to clear 60k health nodes on a 6x grind.

I'd be much happier playing the same opponents with lower health, but makes perfect matches.

As a new player and speaking only for myself, I am avoiding pve. It seems like way too much work to get 100k in points... I hit max progression in 36 hours on one of their tests but the last few have seen me shoot for only 1/2 progression (as that's all I can hit) and I just find it boring. icon_e_confused.gificon_e_confused.gificon_e_confused.gif
