Game unresponsive after victory

To preface, I'm a Steam user, up to date (and I validated the game files), and playing the end of the current Category-5 event.

The last two matches I've won (me using Mohawk Storm, Classic Magneto and Loki both times, the enemy teams being Mohawk/Colossus/Ares and Mohawk/Colossus/Scarlet Witch) the game hangs on a black screen rather than going to the reward screen.

My characters do not lose health, nor do I lose the points/rewards I won in victory. However, I have to force-quit the game using Windows Task Manager, and the team I defeated remains in the same node, albeit with a slightly reduced point reward.
