I must be in a 2*bracket, people have been shielding since day 1 and must really want im40. First time I've seen a top 10 this high in a while. Anyone else notice higher than normal tournament scores?

I did and find it really odd... noone was fighting that fiercly for Psylocke, Magneto or Black Panther... or might be just that I got into an unlucky (for me :>) bracket this time

The scores have been increasing for each event since they announced the victory bonus. I'm guessing it's having some positive effect.

This is because there is nothing else to do. This is the only tournament for a few days. No PVE to grind. Lightning round just started today and most people dont fight too hard in lightning round. Another factor is how fast people win with 5 black BP.

Good thoughts. However, the people in my bracket barely have a BP. They are doing it with captain am. Thor, obw, c. Storm or MN mag. Just 2 star heavy bracket

I just want the elusive red IM40 cover... don't have that so I do a little bit more pvp than usual, boost some fights so that I can reshield quickly so that I can remain in top 15, top 45 at worst. Fingers crossed.

I think 1st in my bracket is almost touching 1000.

People who are shielded seem to come up in fight rotation occasionally, where they would never appear a couple of weeks ago. This means slightly more points being pumped into system, but not as many as when they appeared all the time. My bracket is around 850 so you might just be in a competitive bracket.

I'm in 1st for my bracket with just over 1k. I have a pretty good memory as far as people I've smacked around during a given play session. There were several names I did not recognize that hit me while I was shielded.

The thing that I don't like is that all the teams I see have obw +wolvie or obw+thor, same fight over and over again

Sorry, That's the only ones I have leveled from pre nerf, it takes forever to max anyone else but I'm working on it

The reason of high scores is less competitivness because of not-so-rare rewards.

Yup. Lots of this. I started seeing people I recognized from the boards and had to start losing bc I only have one usable 3* once I started facing the army of 85 obws and thors I was able to make progress again. Im first in my bracket right now with with just under 1000. I've also noticed more 2* magnetos. People apparently realized that purple's a beast while he was buffed

I'm more convinced that they tweaked the numbers than some kind of player-caused factor.

Wow. I'm at 846 and I've got 35 points over #2 at the moment in my bracket. 677 gets you into the top 5. This is pretty much what I'm used to seeing. I'm really just trying to make sure I get my first yellow IM40 cover though. For reference, my roster is in that weird transitional state between ** and ***.

You may be in a flukey-difficult bracket; when did you start?

#1 is 1203. 2-5 are all over 900. 6-10 are over 800.


I've got 633 right now and I'm outside of the top 45, at #57, though I'm not sure by how much.

I'm currently shielded in 4th with 637 in my bracket, 34 points ahead of 6th who is also shielded. The guy in 1st has 824 points, with 2nd having 761. I'd be tempted to try a late run to get nearer the top, but I've already pulled a Yellow IW from a Heroic token today and sold it (I already have 3 Yellow for her), so I don't want to deny it from someone who may actually want it. If I can hold on to the top 5 I'll be happy as it'll give me the IM40 Blue and Yellow I need to finish him off.

It's nice when other brackets are higher, because you can still find fights around your level rather than having to fight risky fights 200 points below.
