Need some help, trying PVP

So, I am trying my hand at some PVP as I am pretty much burnt out on PVE (thanks juggs, venom, moonstone and bullseye). I have done some PVP before and hit 800 one time, but typically I am at about 400-500 before getting beat down.

I, like so many others, am ISO starved and I am seeing what people I should level next. Right now, most of my people I have been leveling due to having covers for them and needing champion levels to get some legendary tokens. I have KK, Blade, Torch, Patch, QS, Storm, IF, Loki, Thor all at max covers but who should I level? I am thinking IF or KK as they seem helpful in PVP, however Thor gives me (eventually) Rulk covers and QS gives Jean Grey.

For PVP I typically use OML, Classic Mags, and either KK or SW or whoever the required character is. Below is my roster if you want to scroll through, I am just looking for any advice on what I should do or who I should use.

fist for sure. max fist and try running fist with oml - fist feeding oml black for strikes. then throw in mags or feed fist with witch or something like that. mags red can be a killer if oml strikes are out. kk is another top tier that should be after fist. then you can make a call between blade, thor, and loki. I think fist should be your first priority, especially having a decent oml.

Your 4s aren't there yet. Your choice of 3s to max are interesting, at least the psylocke and colossus ones. I'm guessing you champ'd them because you had covers waiting. Don't do that. You'll have to sell some covers at some point, focus on the good ones. TxMoose outlined those well.
