How about anniversary tokens. Tokens that would allow to boost any hero you have by one cover you select? These could be handed in 365 and 700 days periods. Would be hellava lot better than your basic tokens...

Well they kind of already do do player anniversaries. After one year you get a complete set of Devil Dino covers and after two years you get a Silver Surfer.

    Check the daily reward list

Once you've played long enough the rewards ramp up into 4* covers significant goodies. It's not necessarily a straight-up anniversary but it's clear they put some effort into thinking about rewarding players for their passion and investment.

A Mr. F at day 880 makes it clear they put some effort into thinking about how best to troll us...

I'll be in a nursing home dribbling and incontinent by the time I get decent goodies from daily rewards. Can't wait.

I've been trying to think of other suggestions (where this will get bumped to eventually I'm sure), I'll go post one now: ISO daily drop based on numbers of levels you have. There, done : viewtopic.php?f=8&t=42428

I've also long suggested just re-numbering your star level: give all 1*'s three abilities and make them 2*'s, then re-number the rarity level (3*'s are 2*'s, 4*'s are 3*'s...) - and then you could completely get rid of standard tokens and they could all be heroics.
