New character availability from tokens??

I am sure I have seen this somewhere before but I cannot seem to find the thread. How soon after a new character release are they available from tokens/CP? I have a bunch of LT's and CP saved up from the season but want to wait until Punisher Max is added to the list. Managed to get one green cover from the token at 650 points in the PVP and a second green for getting to 1000.

    I believe it's at the start of the next season.

    You believe correctly. Punisher and Quake should be in tokens by Friday.

    Usually it's the next season, lucky for you the new one starts soon (thursday, April 7th). Check the odds before opening any tokens, they will update and show the new characters in them (click the ? icon).
