*Updated - Fresh from the D3 Go! Blog - here are the important duck deets in a handy schedule:

April 6th – You can get your first sneak peek of Howard the Duck and his fluffy feathers in-game in prep of the start of Duck Season.

April 7th – Duck Season opens with the start of “The Hunt” event.

April 11th – A brand new episode titled, “Webbed Wonder” begins. If you complete this episode from start to finish, Howard the Duck is yours! You just have to save Aunt May!

April 14th – A brand new PVP tournament appropriately named Fowl Play will begin and this is your last chance to earn Howard the Duck as Duck Season will end on April 17th.

According to a story this morning at Entertainment Weekly - Howard the Duck is FINALLY arriving in Marvel Puzzle Quest!

Marvel’s most famous fowl is now quacking his way to Marvel Puzzle Quest in a special limited release event! Howard the Duck, the diminutive detective trapped in a world he never made, will be available in Marvel Puzzle Quest starting on April 7th in a feather-filled mini-event titled, “Duck Season”. Both Chip Zdarsky and Joe Quinones (writer and artist of the Howard the Duck comic series) worked together with the Demiurge Studios team in creating the art and abilities for Howard the Duck in the game. The duck call for Duck Season will begin with Howard being earnable in “The Hunt” episode right before a special brand new episode written by Marvel writer Alex Irvine titled, “Webbed Wonder” comes to the game on April 11th.

The new episode will be a three day, three sub-chapter event telling the story of Spider-Man enlisting the services of private eye Howard the Duck to discover what in the world Aunt May been up to lately in New York City. In their search for her through New York, the duo will fight their way through H.A.M.M.E.R. Agents, Maggia, man-eating symbiotes, and a host of Marvel Super Villains in order to uncover the truth. The episode will feature other popular Marvel Puzzle Quest characters, including Squirrel Girl, Kingpin, Bullseye, and more! Players that complete Webbed Wonder will automatically be rewarded a Howard the Duck cover for their efforts. Duck Season will conclude with a brand new Howard the Duck Versus Tournament titled, “Fowl Play” that starts on April 14th.

Players will only be able to add Howard the Duck to their roster during Duck Season.

    So for Webbed Wonder, are we looking at a combination of a "Growth Industries" type event (where just completing it gives you one cover) and a normal PvE with top placement getting multiple covers?

    Devil Dino covers were given out like candy during his anniversary release event, but then were unattainable after that. (except anniversary daily awards)

    Could be something similar.

    But this says, can only be ADDED TO YOUR ROSTER during duck season. If you can't complete Duck Season, but place will in The Hunt, you won't be able to roster him

    I think you're taking that phrase too literally. They could easily mean "can only obtain his covers" and just said it poorly. They've been known to do that.

    I don't think it seems odd. It sounds very much like how Devil Dinosaur is treated. In other words, Howard's the newest joke/trophy character.

    Or they're just screwing with us for April Fool's day. Can't rule that out.

    how about giving us all 1000 HP if you want to release joke people sorry but i skip it totally . NOT worth spending 1000 HP for someone i will never be able to get covers for
