Not that it really matters that much, but does there really need to be two characters with identical colors and then a third with one color variation?

At least you can use the loaners when you fight with Falcap (slowest 4* ever) and Dare Devil (pray for your trap to land on a red you can match), and Hawkeye (only good for match 5's). I have been just stunning with DD and then using Falcap's red as once I gayer enough red for a trap there is just not enough red on the board to make it worth while.

pretty sure its not even 10 seconds. RNG only takes a millisecond or something.

Totally agree. Its like they purposely build a buff list to break all synergies. a cool way to implement weekly buffs is to curate it like a spotify playlist so that players at tiers of play can maximize the utility in how they chose to develop their roster.

Maybe I'm just too much of a noob to spot the synergies. But even there, a smart producer should write up a paragraph to explain why he choose those buffs and how he would have built teams.

That would be a fun way to gain insight on how the developers saw characters evolving.

I think it's done on purpose to force you to use underpowered characters in the nodes.

The PvE tests are requiring me to delve into my roster. I'm typically using 1 boosted and 2 normal. Any combination of the boosted characters leaves you weak in at least one color, and it's not like they're thematically related - there's no reason to use all three. It's an encouragement to complement a strong (or required) character with characters who synergize.

I'm probably just a noob player, but I really don't see they synergy that I should be taking advantage of. This is just like when I play my friends top 25 songs, and in the middle of a run of Jay Z songs, the "imperial march" comes up. this is where a short paragraph that talks about why the buffs were chosen could be a fun an interesting discussion.

It would be like. Cool Anthony came up with this weeks buff list. Events are gonna be fun as hell.

Oh Ice wrote this weeks buff list. better look at what my my green pink/purple users are leveled at.

If people can't figure out the logic of a buff list, then it loses alot of utility.

As a FYI, I never knew kingpin/SW/IF was a lethal combination until I saw the simulator node featuring that battle. After that I made a point to restructure my roster to use that combo in gooon nodes.

Thats what the buff list should be geared towards. Help show unique and effective combinations that might not have been popular.

Oh an even better job this event, three characters with NO damage dealing attacks and 2 missing colors since you're relying on match damage, what the hell!

Storm's blue is one of the most damaging attacks in the entire 2* roster.

Edit: And Mr. Fantastic's black increases the damage on one of the colors that you're missing (Red). And he has black to himself, so that's the only thing you'll use it for.

idk what join forces you have, but I had OBW instead of Storm, that was a dreadful match to get through.

I know what happened here. The first sub-event (Deadpool vs. Heroes), while OBW is the required character, she's also on the opposite team, so it subs in Storm (at least for me). I'd imagine that Deadpool vs. Villians would return it to where it's supposed to be. Which, in that case, I'll just bring along a team-up that can create strike tiles, since my OBW is at a higher level than my Mr. Fantastic.

It did so there are 3 support characters with 0 direct damage dealers. Well thought out D3

I'm actually getting through that one fairly quickly between using Imaginaut and OBW's dealing of extra damage on her covers (and having Mr. Fantastic at level 70 so he doesn't tank any of OBW's colors). Basically just a lot of blue/black yellow matches.
