Well I have a suggestion that might make more sense

STOP KICKING A DEAD HORSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now don't get me wrong I love this game but sadly enough it has came to the point and time that every development team fears. THE POINT OF NO RETURN. And it's the natural order of everything that's ever been and will ever be created. But fear not programmers and players because this offers a chance of a fresh start and a new breath of life. How is this you ask? It gives you a chance to create a second chapter in the marvel puzzel quest universe.
But before that can happen let's take a look at how things have came to such a sad state in our once beloved game. 1st and foremost their was the extremely slow development of the players teams due to low ISO payouts. Thus the casual player was detured from the platform. Their was feedback from many of these players asking why. There questions went unherd and unanswered for so long they lost interest. Took nearly 3 years to get rid of the 20 ISO prize that wasted days of playing in attempts to get a decent prize on every level.

But in the solution also came a unforseen punishment for the newest player. What was this punishment you ask. They where forced in to the world of feast or famine p.v.e and p.v.p events even though their teams where never close enough to faceing these events. And due to the nature of those beasts some thrived most inched along but for every one that inched along 5 quit. Why because after playing the avenger tower enough times to get all the prizes on the current system ( Please correct if wrong. Been to long ago that I was their.) you earn 960 ISO 4 health packs a iron man hawk eye and storm 1* covers. And 50 hero coins. This can make a 7/5/1 team if I remember correctly. Then comes juggernaut and some more difficult challenges. Not a issue really for the dedicated player but at the end of prolog 2 your looking at some serious issues because now we have Thor a 2 star and several 1* covers in the storage bin with a timer of 14 days. And their core team has not yet won their confidence to pay in to the game for extra slots and the slow 45 min health pack timers aren't helping any. Which used to be 30 min.

And now prolog 3 comes along with the quest requirements. This is where most casual players say OK enough I am done. Why because they are stuck in a bad loop at this point of loosing in PvP and the PvE events rewards are just as slow and have greater health pack consumeing ratios. So they gave up on the game and said so long...........
Well then you have to bank on the dedicated players now guys. Well that stratagem worked for a short term until the introduction of a whole new way to revamp a old character. Now I am not sure how this was play tested if it even was tested before the introduction of the upgrade to champion. But then came the biggest hook ever the only way to champion them is with Max level and command point's. That are hard as heck to get because they are the best way to extort cash from the hard core players pockets. What could go wrong here ?????

Their is so many things that could and did because with in hours every 12 year old i knew that played blew 100s of their parents cash thru the store on the game to get champion's. And sadly they are not around now to keep doing so. And you your self admitted the system is now so broke no matter how powered up your team is in story it still doesn't work out well. Well maybe it wasn't the difficulty settings in story mode that is the issue but the constant 3 health packs per fightand then the 3 hour wait for a character to heal naturally that is killing the pace of game play. Coupled with the limited locker space of the casual player and the stupid timer on covers that you want to keep but can't afford 550 coins for 2 slots because your stuck with 25 saved hero coins and the mortgage and or other real life bills for adults take precident. And the kids don't get allowance fast enough to get a 700 slot roster.
Besides where would we get the ISO to level them up ????? Oh that costs you even more real life money or about seven weeks of grinding but by then your great prize from 2 months ago is no better then a 1* black widow because some one already has the character just announced already championed and maxed in 35 min of launch. Are those play testers or devs or hacks? So take what you have learned what not to let happen and what needs to happen and what the players are saying needs fixed

Make a second M.P.Q and make the game fun again by allowing the player to decide when they want to step up to champion and if they don't want to step up to the next level don't punish them by forcing them to encounter the championed players. Heck you could even have champion only difficulty PvP,PvE,& prolog with better prize payouts to encourage them to do so. But if not then it's just standard competition. And don't get scared of this all that spent hard core cash on their profile because it is easy to over lay the second version over the original and save your profiles.

I just don't want to see M.P.Q go the way as so many others like hero's of order and chaos. It's still online yes nbut theirs been no new content released in over 7 months and no support for the game if any issues now. They said in a letter sent to players as long as a few 10,000 stay active the servers will never shut off.

Sorry, but in that entire rant, I think I only saw one vague suggestion to create a new game. Was that it?
  • This is the "suggestions & feedback" forum key word for this post "Feedback"

And to answer your "is that it?" No I was suggesting if they want to stop hemorrhageing both players and income then maybe they should refocus their efforts in to fixing the issues that have arose instead of dropping a new cover every week that takes more space and resources up.

Resources mind you that don't appear to be coming from any sources other then the wallets of the very people who are asking

"Why should I still pay for the same old junk with no relief insight?"
