Dark Petition

I have recently noticed a change to Dark Petition. In the past I would use Pw 1 Corrupt to get rid of my expensive creatures and then play Dark Petition to get them on the battlefield. This no longer seems to work. Is anyone else experiencing this, or have they changed this mechanic?

    I used it successfully today, and it works 98% of the time. Once in a while something weird happens where it doesn't work (the spell stays x'd out when there should be something in the graveyard), but I haven't put my finger on it yet... maybe when there are already 3 creatures or something? It never seems to fail when I actually want it to work though.

    Also keep in mind that elective discard is an exile, meaning that it's removed from the game completely.

    Thanks for the help people. Managed to fix it by editing my deck, removing and re-adding the card to my deck. Since then it works fine.
