Quick question regarding 4* levelling.

I'd read a few people saying to level a 4*, get them up to a useful level for 4* DDQ when you're lacking covers but have enough that they could win, say betweeen 140-160, and then when they're competitively covers hold back and get them to 270 in one go.

I've also seen people say for the sake of your personal scaling, level things up slowly instead of in one big go.

Which is the more sensible way to go? I'm sitting on 100K because I'm saving up to max out a 4*. I'm curious if I should be levelling them up now, or just waiting until I get the other 70K I need to get them to 270.

Also, should I do Thoress or Xpool first? I was going to do Xpool until IM40's change made him work so damn well with Thoress.

I can't really give advice about leveling, but I can say that Xpool also works dang well with IM40 as one Recharge more or less equals one Out of Bullets.

Yeah, but Thoress has that tasty stun as well. I know both are viable, Xpool perhaps a little more so since he protects his allies and traps high value colours and heals himself, but Thoress once you get going can just stunlock the enemy to death.

X-enforcer can be pretty dang sweet at high levels too.
Both are very viable, but I suggest prioritizing Xpool since he plays well on his own. You never know when IM40 is going to be unavailable.
