How long is the Marvel licence for MPQ?

IIRC IceIX posted a few months ago saying they have the freedom to use any version of any marvel character for the foreseeable future0

I would guess long. Retail games work differently because they just release a finished game and lose sales numbers after that initial release. F2P is a more longer sustained profit and is constantly being developed. So as long as the game continues to profit, I don't see them losing the license.0

So far the way marvel games have mostly worked that when you lose the license you just can't patch or update the game anymore. I don't know about the deadpool game but for instance when Capcom lost their marvel license they just stopped updating or patching the game. It's still online.
On console games you haven't been able to get DLC after that point either... So I wonder if you'd be able to buy covers, etc after that... I would guess not. So in that case the game would die I suppose. They certainly won't keep it online if they can't sell covers anymore.0 -
Probably as long as the money keeps flowing.0
