So we know there will be a Zendikar expansion coming soon, however I have a question; will there be 1 expansion for the whole Zendikar block, or is MTGPQ releasing a BFZ set and then another OotGW set?

What about special sets such as modern masters, and commander?

Will we be able to buy packs specific to a set or block? What about random packs with cards from any set? Maybe have the random packs cost runes to buy instead of crystals, or at least cost less.

  • When did they soon. Only thing I have seen so gar is that it's coming with. 1.4.
We don't even know if 1.4 is the next patch. Could be still months.

One of the things they mentioned about sets is that cards like "Macabre Waltz" do not have to be included if they do not make sense for this game. Over time, I imagine that as long as the game is healthy we will eventually end up with every card from paper magic that makes sense to add to this game, but thus far no news has been given on any of these details.

True, we don't know when the next expansion will come out. So it would be great if the devs gave us a bit of a schedule of whats to come. They can be slightly vague, but knowing there will be an expansion released say every 3 months lagging 1 month behind the physical card game, or every 6 months and have cards from a block, that would be good info to know. It would keep the player base interested as well knowing what to expect. Origins came out in the summer and this set was released in December, which by that time a whole other set came out. I understand that they had to develop the game, but from now on what do they have planned?
And please stick to the expected schedule. The steam MTG game, duels of the planeswalkers, is very good and I have played all versions released (one a year) but they promised an expansion and did not deliver for several months later and by then it lost a huge player base, including myself. Had they been vocal and informed their players then there would be no problem, but silence is just as bad as not delivering at all.
  • I hope the IAP prices become more reasonable with additional cards being released, I love the game but wont buy in at these prices.

Yeah, the current prices are broken. Zero incentive to buy when packs provide zero guarantees of rarities. The actual mtg game guarantees one rare per pack. Why is this not happening here?
  • Hopefully they will at least allow you to buy packs targetted towards different expansions, just like how you can buy a zendikar booster IRL.

Not sure if I would want that. Sure you would at first get more new cards from each pack. Especially if you are just lacking some of the old cards.

But it would be harder to get those packs if there are more kind of packs. I don't think they would let us just choose if our daily reward bonus fp is a zendikar fp or a normal one.

And while it might be good in the beginning to have the old and new cards separated, when you miss only a few from both I'd prefer to have mixed boosters.

But more important than how they are coming is that they are coming. I desperately need a goal to play for. Haven't played in days.
I only want to have about 5 more of the old cards and I just find it not worth to play for the minimum chance to get one of them.

It's also hard to love a game that rewards you for not playing it every day.
The fact that someone who plays a few hours at the end of a qb event has a better chance to get to rank 6 in his latter than someone who plays more hours even every day is just wrong. It feels unfair and it pushes players that want to play everyday towards other games.

    how is that?

what they announced is a battle for zendikar event (in the latest interview), but they said nothing about new cards

it could be an event to fight a special IA or something like that that doesnt involve adding new cards

i still play, trying to get to a crystal rank in every ladder event, i miss almost all mythics and some rares that i would like to have (i want to have a complete black set for example)

I have not yet claimed 2 fatpacks or 3 5card packs. I am waiting for a patch or update before claiming them due to the droprates.
However, when the expansion comes out will the new cards be added to this pool (origins) or a new one like BFZ (or BFZ and oath combined)? If (logically) so then will I be able to use my unclaimed packs/fatpacks out of BFZ or will am I stuck with origins ones? Devs please give us some info

My question is this: will there be new planeswalkers? I certainly hope so, maybe even a multicolor or two. However, I hope they don't put them up for sale in the vault like the origins ones. Rather, I'd like to see them in the boosters, just like the physical game, with mono-colors pulling as rares, and multi's pulling as mythic. I think that would make it far more interesting.

with how difficult is to get a mythic in this game ill rather pay 10 crystal for whatever new planeswalker i want than to wait for RNGesus to give me the mythic card that i want

You think the new planeswalkers will cost 10 crystals? That's optimistic!
