'Removed' from own alliance?

I was attempting to send a team up to an alliance member, then it said 'An unexpected problem has occurred while sending the team up. Please try again.'. But after that I seem to have been removed from my alliance. Which would be weird as I was the (only) commander. When I look up my alliance it still lists me as member/commander.

What can I do to fix this? I restarted the game 3 times already, but the problem seems to persist.

/edit: For completeness' sake: I'm playing on iOS.

Update: a short while later the membership issue seems to have resolved itself, I'm back 'in', but it I still can't send team ups.

You should open a customer support ticket.

I will do so if the problem persists. I'm at work now, so I'll have to check later if it keeps doing weird things like that. It may have been due to problems with the wifi signal, garbling communication with the server during some alliance specific requests.
