Hello,

This is my 505th day on MPQ
Tomorrow, my Hulkbuster should be 270.

I'd like to shield less to hit 1K in PVP.
Generally, It costs me between 825 and 1000 HP (way too much).

So, which character would you put ISO into ?
Deadpool, Iceman or Nick Fury (those are the only ones that can reach 270 in my roster) ?

Well, I can't play PVP during the day (I'm at work)
So, I play until I reach 600-650 on the first day then I shield for 1 day
On the second day, I try to go to 850-900
On the last day, I don't succeed to do more than 2 battles without beeing attacked and losing more points than I win...
So I have to shield 2 or 3 times for these damned 100-150 final points.

PS : I didn't think to champion IM40 but if You say it's a good idea then, why not ?

Well, I tried not to shield on the first day and hit 400 points.
I was just attacked twice
On the second day, I reached 800 and shielded for 24 hours
The third day, I hit 1000 points with a 3 hours shield.

OJSP, you're the best !

Now, my Iceman and Hulkbuster are 270.
The next ones will be DP and JG (to level 250... Damn missing blue cover).

She is a really nice character to have. I would probably bank the ISO needed to max her first. That leaves you open to do something else in the mean time.

looks like the 1 you're missing is blue. as far as offensively, she is just as functional at 250 as she is at 270. I'd definitely take her to 250 and play her. test her out before you spend that kind of cp on any "3rd best" ability. my advice would definitely be different if it were either green or purple AND you didn't have ice maxed already. that advice is somewhat at odds with madok's, so take it fwiw. I don't think you'll get a great return on the huge investment of cp for her 3rd blue, especially when you can run ice and be just as strong on offense and almost as strong on defense. at 5/2/5, she is definitely worth taking to 250 regardless.

A lot of really good advice in this thread.

What slice are you playing in? I'd like to recommend that you try not shielding below 900 or even 950 at all for an event. In most slices you can hit 1k with just IceBuster or even FistBuster and no shield. You have to be climbing at the right time (usually between 18 and 30 hours remaining in the event), but I think you can do it.

Also, I recommend not spending CP to max JG. She will work just as well for you at 5/2/5.

Well, I don't spend as much HP as I used to, thanks to OJSP.

Now, I have to level max Kingpin, Wolvie and Nick Fury...
Maybe I'll find a blue JG during this time.

nick is not a strong enough character to me prioritize him for a cover. I have 8 champs and he isn't even on my list of my next 3 desired to champ - for me that is xfw, kp, and x23. after that is antman and if I get middle covers, carnage and nova. then, at that point, if I don't have quake or pun covered, fury will be on my radar. I fully expect fury will continue to get pushed down the list. he is a low-mid tier character that I wouldn't start with. I'd sell that and focus on jean.

I agree with Moose. I just got my 13th cover for Nick and I'm not really thinking about putting ISO into him at this point.

But if it makes you happy doing it, go for it. We have to remember that it isn't always about the most optimal way of playing. It has to come back to are you having fun. And if having a champ Fury sounds like fun, do it.

I'm gonna sell my NF cover and I'll
Max level JG in a few days.
Then I'll level Thoress or Wolvie.
