What goals should I be hitting with my roster?

Roster's in the signature.

My plan as a 2 star transitioner has been keeping my lesser covered 3 stars 10 levels behind my 2 stars. It's worked out well so far in keeping scaling in check for both PVE and PVP.

I can hit PVE for max progression pretty much every time if I hit every sub 3 times a day and generally get top 150-200 placement, occasionally top 100. I don't care much for the grind it take for me to get anything above top 50. I've gotten a bit tired of fighting Dark Avengers day in and day out however so I've been putting more focus into PVP these days and can hit 650-750 before i start hitting a wall and I give up and shield up until the end.

I'm as ISO started as anyone else in the game so I'm currently working to get all my full covered 3 stars to 140 now that my championed 2 star magneto has hit 144.

Other than that what should I be leveling? And goals in PVP?

I think you might be able to better your pvp a little by taking a group to 166. and from 140, as long as you don't take duds, your scaling should be killed. I can see right off the bat a solid group with cmags/kk/im40. not sure why your fist is covered and not in your top tier too. pick a group from the following to max out and you'd be much better off in pvp:

im40, kk, cage, cmags, steve, fist, and when the covers come in, witch, cyke and panther

those are the top core of 3* play. I may have missed one. but any group of 3-4 of those that makes sense ability/color wise would help. truthfully the thing that will help the most is getting more and more of that group to 166 so when they're boosted, you have a strong boosted top tier team.

I think you're roster is deep enough to make the move to 166, but its better to do it in waves. looks like you're doing well. only thing that sticks out is fist (don't worry about the spec, after you max/champion, you can respec for free). everything else looks solid.

your bread and butter right now probably needs to stay pve until you max a group. do what you can in pvp, but don't freak out about not hitting X points. once you have a group of 166s, I would hope you could hit 800 consistently and once you get a big group of top guys to 166+, you can make 1K, but will probably take some hp for hopping. not sure what your capability is there ($).

Thanks for the advice, I guess I better go back to doing PVE a bit more; that's my main source of ISO these days. I moved Fist and Daken up to 140 a day ago since I finally got enough ISO. Now I'm back down to 30000 ISO. I'm also tempted to use CP to buy the last cover for cyclops and move him up as well (I've got enough CP banked).

on using cp - unless it will make a large difference in your performance, I'd hold off on cyke. if you had enough iso to max him sitting there and he was going to be the cornerstone of your 3*s, I'd consider it. otherwise you'd be spending extra cp on something that might come in by the time you actually can max him and use him. that has happened to me twice. the day after I bought 2 covers on jean (hp days), I pulled one of those covers from a heroic. the night before the hp nerf I whaled out iceman (I think 5-4 covers). and then in the following days in the process of championing 3*s I pulled a couple iceman covers. it seems the game is hardwired to do that. just be warned.
