Who will take me to 1,3?

Hi,

I need some tips on the 1k to 1,3k transition. I intend to minimize the number of hops to limit the time playing to 1-2 per PvP (time shortage and HP shortage). So I need a quick and fearsome team for early climb not with 8h to go but rather 20h to go when there are a bit less hits).

I have Hulkbuster at 275 and paired with Iron fist he can get me 1k but not really much more than that (with sufficient shield hoping probably yes but that's a different story).

I have maxed covered Thoress (lvl 230), Wolverine (lvl 200) and Deadpool (lvl 184). I could bring them up if they would help in the final push. My IceMan is at 250 max leveled (still need one Green/Blue to max him and respec if needed as I have 5 purple). I can try saving the CP to buy his cover or count on luck. I also have Phoenix at 5 covers (2-3-0 so not that useful but maybe?).

Please let me know where I should focus my efforts (iso, CP, etc). Anything would be a project as I am currently at 19 CP and 50k iso (and only 1,5k HP with the slots at 1000).

unless you're in a good BC, not sure 1300 is reliable with any 4* pair without 1 shield. I can usually hit in after 1 shield and one good hop, but that has been more and more risky lately (used to get 3 matches/hop, sometimes a hit comes in on that 3rd one now).

my general experience is pushing to 1000-1100 and 1-2 hops to 1300. sometimes i need one more shield to get to event end, sometimes not. so i averaged just under 1500 this season per event. with 4 boosteds, having a top tier boosted is huge. the more the better, but hb/ice is a solid pair.

Thanks guys. My guess was that IceMan will be key. I won't have the CP to get the cover so I think I need the patience. The ISO is almost there so as soon as he is attainable i am getting him at all costs

one note about iceman - he is stupid strong with im40 + red user. hb not the best red user because he blows it all on one guy, but im40 really feeds ice well. that is mostly for shield sim and pve, but man its good.

Yep. Overall IM40 is crazy good with Red and Blue user. So I had a lot of fun when Thoress was boosted (I have her maxed covered at 230) with him. It was a bit hit or miss but mostly hit after hit .

When I have him maxed and well covered (what is the best color distribution for him?) I will test with IM as well. There is no synergy between Hulkbuster and Ice but still Red/Black can be useful. Maybe somebody else will be better to pair with Ice?

ps. I am enjoying the X-Force/Deadpool combo in the PvE... If only I had iso to level them as well.

If you are in the right BC you can do it with just FistBuster honestly, but it does take time coordinating hops and really waiting until you have some high value cakes - and you can always get sniped while you are hopping prolonging the event.

I've used IMHB with Rulk/Iceman/JG in various combinations with 1 of the 4 boosted and I still get hit once I pass the 1000-1100 mark. Even this last event I had both XFW and JG boosted and still took several hops to hit 1300.

So I guess the real answer is....no one in particular will take you to 1300. A diverse 4* roster will increase the number of events where you have 1 or 2 boosted 4*s that you can pair with another usable 4* to allow you to climb higher than you otherwise would, but currently there is no golden 4* pair that will really consistently carry you to 1300. 5*s are a different story, but acquiring them is entirely luck based and not something you can really plan for.
