I don't know why they want to boost the 5*... The 5* already has an edge over the other tiers.

Considering they were boosting only Avengers member there (and they were pretty loose in defining who has been a member).. maybe not.

As far as I recall, GSBW was boosted last time, but not OBW(link to Wiki page). So, not all incarnation of a character is boosted. X-Force and Bagman weren't boosted either, were they?

We'll know in 2 days.

I thought OML was a member of the Avengers now, but I may have misunderstood that.
Anyway, I noticed the first place prize is X-23, not X-force Wolverine as can be expected. I wonder if it is a cimple clerical error or if they are dropping the alphabetical order for covers?

GThor / JG / IM40 has been wrecking on defense, even with GT/JG underleveled.

Last time WoP ran, it was basically Heroic tokens with the standard Heroic splash token screen renamed -- not a better shot at pulling the women. This time around the WoP token vault is actually mostly women, good job D3.

They're inconsistent with the naming. She's X-23 (All-New Wolverine), he's Wolverine (X-Force). They must be using some nickname for sorting.

And being pedantic, "-" comes before both numbers and letters. Unless you are using some bizarro collation. :edit: Of course, X-23 and X-Force both have "-" in there, so it's a moot point and over-pedantic.

They did surprise us by putting in Totally Awesome Hulk at H instead of T earlier, so anything is possible I suppose.

Wait, wouldn't it have been Venom? He's right after Thor in the list on the Legendary tokens.

not many pts out yet and I have a lunch meeting about to start. decided to push early so I had to bite the bullet and take on some strong teams. man 4thor/im40/jean is very, very good. took on my first level 500something phoenix (not sure what level, but had 60K+ health) and they took her without much damage taken. took down many OMLs too. im40 is crazy.

Thora 40 is the new fistbuster. As a 3*-4* team, it can beat any 5* team. I guess this is good for the meta.

I've been rolling phoenix winfinite (phoenix, grey widow and scarlet witch) and destroying. Just steamrolling the bracket. Phoenix tanks everything on the board leaving the other two to just wreck s***

I'm due to get a 4hor this week from the daily resupply, so I'm really hoping to snag the one from this event so I can take her to 4/2/4. It's looking like it will be difficult, though, as scores are very low so far. It's hard to find a match over 40 points that isn't against level 500+ Phoenix.

That is just typical. It was literally yesterday that I finally managed to max and champion Hulkbuster, and now he's passé.

if I could only have 1 4* it would be ice, and he is every bit as crazy with im40 as thora. they cover all colors but black, have a huge aoe, stuns, and 2 targeted nukes. to me ice is better than 4thor with mid-tony, so don't feel too bad

Got up to 700 points, saw nothing but championed Thora's and JG's (usually with IM40 or IMHB). As much as I really need the red cover... just wasn't worth it to me.

Or they just screwed up. I am a little disappointed Venom will be the 1000 point reward in the Blade tournament. I was hoping I could skip that one...

I'm guessing they just decided that "Women of Power" should have covers for women characters as rewards. X-23 was the next alphabetical woman cover, so she was the top placement to complement the 1K Thoress. For Earth's mightiest, they're back on their normal rotation - so I'd expect to see X-Force Wolverine as the 1st place in the Blade PvP.
