200 points is always 2*, 800 is always 3*, 1000 and 1st place are always 4*. I don't normally bother being more descriptive, except for LCap and Falcap; I use the for Sam Wilson, for Steve Rogers. The naming convention the devs came up with sucks.

Stay on Target was interesting. The reward at 200 was , as was the reward at 800. 2* and 3* respectively, of course.

boosted IM40 is great and all, but it means he'll tank for Vision unless I champion him, which takes away some of the appeal. Although as I am sat on 6 Vision covers I suppose I could cough up the 60k ISO by tomorrow...or I invest it into my 150 3/2/5 Jean... hmmm

Many, many attacks now, my retaliation queue is full of IM40 / Jean, and some names familiar from the forum.

Maybe Loki is just too squishy...

:edit: Ooh, trying for 1300 for the first time, getting hit by some very familiar names, with rubbish retaliations worth single digits. Even if I wanted to square off against decent level OML (I don't). You guys are off my Holiday Card list.

I hit you for 50 pts, when I was around 800 a couple of hours ago, but you were already using IM40/Jean by then.. how high are you now? I'm at 1060 now.

(No, I'm not asking because I got you on my queue again.. I just genuinely wanted to know whether you've got to 1300 )

I got to 1140, did another battle for 70, when I finished I was back on 1020 or so. I'm now at 1077, and will probably do another few battles in an hour or so.

I had a few really easy 2* teams in my queue, cupcakes I guess, the retaliations replaced them. Curses.

D'oh. I hope I wasn't one of those who brought you down to 1020.

FWIW, I've tried IM40 and Jean too. They're not bad on offense, could be quick, but sometimes really slow when there are not enough yellow tiles.

But, beating them can be very easy too.. especially since Jean's Mind over Matter can convert up to 6 special tiles to basic. If I were you, I'd consider using other teams for the shield hop. Just in case the matches are too slow and you become an easy target while unshielded.

Well, 8 minutes later and 3 battles for 75 points each gets me 1302 and I'm shielded for the rest of the event. Hit me all you like if you can.

When I started up the game, the retaliations were gone, one of the cupcakes was back, and after beating it once it appeared again in my queue. Praise his noodly appendages.

Then of course I get a Cho cover from the bought LT, so as ever Karma balances out.

Loki is indeed squishy. My championed Loki only has 8k HP. When Vision gets his blue out, any of his 3-matches deals 1700 damage and would make quick work of Loki.

I tried to replace him with my undercovered JG (4/1/1) but the hits keep on coming. Guess a 10k health still isn't a good deterrent.

On a side note 4* Wolverine's Green is deathly lame. Boosted at level 268, his 2 cover green does a measly 600 damage plus a tiny X board shake, while a 1 cover JG at level 208 deals 700 damage to all enemies. X force green really needs a boost.

Hit 1k for the first time in the seasons since going mainly pve. 5 health packs zero shields in the started shard 4 with an hour to play. Got thank Boosted Jean and Wolvie for a easy top 2 finish

I ran im40/jean. yes im40 tanked, but really was only going for the boosted red anyway. green/purple/red usually did the trick sometimes a second red to finish things off. sucked when it was yellow dry though.
