Roster advice

Most recent roster. I got lucky this morning and won covers for grey suit Black Widow and Model 40 Iron Man. I also have 2* Magneto waiting for a slot. I have enough HP for one slot. I'm also inclined to ditch squirrel girl to free up a slot. Anyone else I should ditch to make room?

QS and beast are completely optional. gsbw is very important much later but won't contribute significantly for a while. im40 is mandatory and 2mags is pretty important too.

I'd sell squirrel and roster im40 and mnmags for sure. gsbw is a judgment call. I'd probably sell beast for her.

Yes IM40 certainly over Beast or Squirrel. However, consider spending $ if possible to get HP for roster slots as you will need more roster slots to hold more and more characters to compete over time. Even a small HP purchase should buy you a decent number of roster slots at this time. Spend all HP that you earn on roster slots right now too. Otherwise you will always be having this dilemma going forward, which isn't a fun one. Eventually if you see yourself sticking with the game long-term, you want to roster all 3* for essential nodes in PvE or PvP required characters.

I scored Sentry this evening. Looking like I do need to spend a few bucks for some HP.

Sentry is probably one of the least important 3* to roster. For one, he's kind of hard to play as his moves all damage himself and/or your entire team, and he's also awarded every time Prodigal Sun runs, so you should be able to roster him later if you can't afford to right now.

one thing - if spending some money on slots is something you'll likely do anyway down the road, it would be better to do it now. wish I had broken down earlier in the game and not thrown away so many covers early. being F2P is doable, but it take a long time of making tough decisions on characters/covers to get over the hump. and now that there are so many, I'm not sure you get over it for years - for roster slots anyway, since so many are needed.

So...I had a good morning and ended up with Mr. Fantastic and Vision. I wasn't all that impressed with Vision when I did the recent PVP round, but the "Heavy" power was kinda cool.

I'm going to add GSBW since I have her waiting. Do I need to keep or sell Fantastic and Vision? I also have Captain America waiting but the couple of times I've had him provided for me in a PVP I've hated him and found him kinda useless, so I was planning to sell him.

Please familiarize yourself with the most recent character rankings viewtopic.php?f=14&t=40430 . They will save you from thinking that rostering Vision, Sentry, or MrF might be a good idea at this time (maybe ever).
