    I find there's often a small burst of players whenever a fresh bracket starts. 80 players in a few hours wouldn't surprise me, and I'm guessing 15-20 of them were sharks waiting for a fresh bracket angling for a top 10 finish.

    But I'd be really surprised if that competition stretched all the way down to the top 50 in a bracket with only ~100 people. I joined the Hulk event two weeks ago on day 5 of 7, 60000 points behind the leaders, where they'd clearly had a 3-4 day headstart, and I still ended up 45th without much grinding. With only 300 people by the end, there just wasn't much competition except at the very top. I find there's a lot of falloff between 20-50 in the later brackets, so even missing an essential, I'd bet top 50 is extremely reachable without much grinding.

    One clear brought me to rank 178, nothing much to expect here.
