Its because people are self-entitled whiners who don't think about the game health as a whole, and only their selfish little world view. I ignore most of them, and I'm sure the very intelligent devs do too.

That is ok, we can ignore your useless judgmental post(s) as well.
  • " game health as a whole????? " There seems to be a lot of self - entitled whiners. I prefer to call some of them paying and contributing customers.

No paying customers equals no game. The very intelligent devs would not work without being paid.

You ignore most of them???? You never ignored this one.

Are you a Demiurge employee by any chance?

Oh, take a look at the replies . . . even got a reply from a very intelligent dev.
  • Do you really believe a dev wouldn't read reviews?

I'm not sure what the point of this thread is. You have 5 posts and they are empty complaints. There are numerous productive threads where people provide pretty good discussion on how to improve the game. You seem to value the idea of everyone having a voice and yet you waste yours with posts that contribute very little on how to actually improve the game.
  • The guys who say "I paid for this game blah blah blah" totally misses the point. While the customer may indeed always be right, the side with more customers is more right than the side with the less.

As far as I can tell D3 is very metrics driven. If change X makes 100 guys quit but makes some other guys pay more money to make up for the 100 guys that quit, then they figure that must be a decent change. This does not necessarily have to be done out of goodness for the players. For example if game is a whaling model one, it'd be perfectly fine to get 1000 guys to quit if it helps you pull a guy who spends $1000 a month on the game. That said, the way this game is setup doesn't seem to favor whaling, so high rollers will be disappointed to know that they don't exert as much influence compared to normal cash grab games that are indeed looking for the whales.
  • I wonder how many paying gamers they have lost since their last update.

Don't know but i'm involuntarily part of it.
  • Yup, agreed. A lot of those tournaments required playing for 2-4 hours in the late night to get to those high progression rewards. I like the current setup way better.

I think 900 points for a 3* cover and 1100 for a 4* is reasonably attainable. I'm pretty sure I could get to 900 if I worked at it, and possibly 1100 if I put in a lot of effort and/or shields (and since the breakeven point is 30+ 3-hour shields, that's perfectly reasonable). 1000/1200 might be doable too. Part of the problem right now is that the 4* covers aren't good enough to warrant that kind of effort.

Hm, that only became the problem after they pushed the rewards up. If they just stayed with 1400 on top the times would not skyrocket at all.

But then everyone would be easily getting 4* covers, which should not be happening.

You mean everyone weighing in fighting a lot. Why it is such a problem?

OTOH the 1400 prize need not be a **** cover, it can be just a pack of ISO. The current ladder is smoke and mirrors anyway.
