Concept - Non-Specific 4-star Character

My original character idea was Sains from Royals II and technically still is so.. I don't know
Very vague and non-specific, all ability names are not final, the character that this "theme" pertains to is not apart of the Marvel Universe and I pulled most of these numbers out of my.. paper bag over here, anyway just enjoy the concept and give me any feedback necessary.
All abilities would be max level max covers.
Demonic Lunge: 8 AP - Sains punches the target, dealing 3000 dmg. If the team has 14 or more AP, drains 12 AP and Deals 6000 damage to the target and 3000 to the enemy behind the target
Overflow: Passive - Sains soaks up lingering power from powerful matches, when any team matches 5 or more, gain 3 Black and 3 Purple AP. Also turns 4 random basic tiles into Purple or Black tiles (If the enemy matches 5, Sains still turns 4 random tiles so this may cause a enemy cascade. Your team will still recieve 3 purple and black AP however.)
Corruption Charge: 13 AP - Sains starts to corrupt the battlefield. Turns 4 basic tiles into Corruption tiles. Each corruption tile will spread once each turn if an adjacent tile is of matching color. Corruption tiles can overtake strike, attack, protect, and countdown tiles. This ability turns into Absorb as long as a corrupted tile exist.
Absorb: No AP - Sains gathers up all the corruption. Shatters all corrupted tiles, gaining AP and dealing damage. If there are more than 8 corrupted tiles when absorb is casted, no AP is gained when the tiles shatter but Demonic Lunge becomes Demonic Slam
Demonic Slam: 8 AP - Deals 6000 Damage to the enemy team. (One time use, reverts back to Demonic Lunge)

A bit complicated, but interesting.
Right now there are 4 powers, which you should avoid. Corruption Charge should become Absorb as long as there's a corrupt tile on the board. (It does mean people can't save up 26 black to use it twice but.. that's not a huge drawback. Who does that?)
In addition I am not sure you should have a power that changes another power. There is precedent, with Vision, but that's basically 'Red changes based on blue or yellow', and OML (change all other powers, once), whereas this is 'Black creates an entirely different (TU?) power that changes Purple, sometimes.'
I think the flow of the character would be interesting. You'd be saving up for 14+ purple, using corruption to gain extra AP, and have to choose wisely when to trigger Absorb, 8 AP is nice but so is Demonic Slam. The "lunge becomes slam" clause could maybe just deal the damage (maybe not quite as much) along with shattering the tiles and not transform anything.
I think this character has enough complexity going on that you could up the damage numbers and make them a pretty neat 5-star. Very much like a 4/5 star Mystique.0 -

You're right, when you use Corruption Charge, it will become Absorb sorry I didn't make that really clear. Thank you for your feedback! I added Demonic Slam because the player could be waiting all day to get a good use out of absorb, or it could be way too powerful if it spreads too much so it's kinda forcing you to absorb if you see more than 8 tiles. You would have to match some away if you wanted to go for the AP gain instead of the team nuke. The complexity is what I love about this character and I wanted to introduce individual mechanics that people can think about. Mystique sounds good! Thanks again0
