Thank you for having me! I am excited to be a member of CareBearStare. A little about me: I love comic books and superhero movies (duh, who doesn't?). I reside in CA and work as a CS Manager. I love to learn things and have many different interests. You'll typically see me on in the mornings/evenings pacific time as I play during my commute. If you have any questions for me, please ask! Welcome, Dea!

Man, this PvE is tiresome. I've been playing as much as I possibly can and I seem to be able to keep a fairly decent score but I still think it might be iffy when it comes down to it tonight whether I'll end up with more than 1 cover (from personal points). The scaling is really starting to get annoying as Im using a health pack every two fights or so at this point, it seems.

Done with Hotshot. Fell asleep midgame with 2 near dead characters - so I started this AM at a disadvantage. Im back at the 141 opponents again -boo! and their all mostly SHIELD folks using Sentry or Daken -double boo! Needless to say I can't really win. Will play some more PVE tonight and should be able clear 4-5 nodes at lunch today. I'll do what I can to help stay below 100. Really competitive.

I have to say, I have my Daken to level 100 (115 soft cap coming soon) and as much as I hated playing against level 69 Daken... I love this new Daken! Paired with a Lazy Thor and featured hero (HT this time) they are ripping through opponents like noones business.

141 cMags/Pun Pun/Sentry... They all seem squishy. Still hating OBW though.

As much as I think what the devs are doing with the healing patch is non-sense, it will be a welcome change to the PvP meta... Not having to see OBW in EVERY SINGLE fight...

I think she is finally getting that long awaited Nerf Bat... On the other hand though, SpiderMan has just put his costume away... FOREVER! Second NERF beating!!! into the ground. He is now absolutely completely and utterly useless... Except for "shield tiles" which you can do better vs. damage output...

I am still in my 2-->3* transition. Without her, that transition will come to an almost complete haltingly slow crawl. So it is not a welcome change! ( at tonzil, you know I love you! Didn't mean to yell. ~pats head~ lol)

On another note, Sorry I wasn't much help this PVP, I'll be back up to 600+ this one. I see that all 3 of our Commanders locked the rest of the Bears out of the Trophy Room. Congrats DD, Tonzil, & Kam!!!

And at Berk (Other John) - WR= War Room. Sorry for typing it out short. There are probably only 2 of us that knows what that means at the moment.

It just find PvP a chore when all fights are OBW+ARES/THOR+Featured... all day all the time. And than you hit 800+ points. And than DIVERSITY! Oh snap! Maxed featured + Maxed L. Thor + Maxed cMags/Daken/Sentry/Mororo/Punisher

Glass canon GSBW is interesting, because it is the only PvP which removes OBW from the PvP completely. For daredevil and Bagman covers no less...

On a different note, I think ALL 3 of us got 1st in our respective PvP brackets as well...

BTW John - great job in that transition. It is progressing well. They took my Spidey away and that made me sad. When they gave him back to me; he was never the same. Now, they took him away again... sadly he is now less than a 3* BagMan...

*At least the pat on the head made me feel better *

Heroic Jug event...
There we were... an hour before the end of the event. Hovering around rank 120. Sitting in the chat. Waiting. Healing. Grousing about true heal. At the 60 minute mark, the Bears hit! Final score - rank 61! She Hulks covers for all! AgCenturion397, Ben Grimm, and tonzil take the trophies.

We won't pretend. There was a bit of pessimism. There was a bit of worry. But the TEAM fought back. And did not stop. Boom! Stare! STARE!

Great job, Bears. I was pretty concerned we wouldn't be able to pull off top hundred but everybody did a great job of pulling through in the end.

Awesome job at pulling out all the stops last night. It definitely wasn't looking good going into that last hour but a great team effort turned it completely around.

I played a practice round (tank round) with She-Hulk and the main thing I noticed was that her abilities definitely feel like they cost a bit much, but that seems to be the direction they've been generally moving with a lot of the new character designs. Time will be the true test, and her health pool definitely has a lot of value and offsets the time you need to build up AP a bit. I noticed the red ability seemed to be destroying a few more tiles in addition to just the bottom row, not sure if that's by design or what.

Final hour PvE grinds suck bad. Everyone here deserves a great big CareBear cheer!

We all pulled together and gave it that final GO! Up 53 ranks in almost as many minutes in the end! Awesome! She Hulk covers for everyone!

At least, when the next PvE runs amuck, we will be able to clear out the essentials.

I think it was mentionned, but top 3 in Alliance were:

- Ben Grimm
- Tonzil

12 points separated 1st from 3rd and in alliance a really close 4th.

Truth be told, this event was so bad... and seeing as how trophies really mean nothing... EVERYONE DESERVES A GOLD TROPHY. So, now, you all have to settle for a Shulkie cover instead!!

Agree. Great job you all. I fell from 70th to top 200 in the last half hour so I only got the single cover. Thats fine its good enough for the next PVE required node. Hopefully no one attacks me in PVE. I pity the fool who dares anger the Hulk.

Tonzil, you have my permission to melt down my PvE gold and commission championship rings for everyone. We all deserve it after slogging through that mess. Truly a great effort on the part of every single bear!

Agreed (mostly), especially since two of her powers (settlement/reprieve) are pretty situational. Reprieve was already underwhelming to me because it used highly contested green ap, but now that the healing aspect of the power has been gutted by the devs it's only good for the ap reduction... Which is kind of... Meh. I don't think it's worth 12 ap, hoping for big improvements with more covers, but not holding my breath.

I quite like Power of Attorney though, I think 9 red is fair for that amount of potential board shake-up. Also, I think iceix explained that PoA destroys 10 random tiles starting from the bottom of the board (so some in the bottom, some in the second to last, etc), not the bottom row itself. I think they should have worded that a little more clearly in the description.
