    My 2 spideycoin.png - there is no Player versus Environment (always thought it was Event, well - live for a 100 years, learn for a 100 years) in this game with the small exception of Guantlet, Alliance oriented events once every blue moon (Glactus and Ultron) and even rarer 4* release events (Ant-Man and TAHulk). The regular PvE is actually PvP. The only difference is you don't loose points as other players don't attack you personally. Still - it's competitive and your aim is to beat other players, not the AI in the game. Hence it remains PvP (and you can call an apple an orange but it will still be an apple).
