Can't update to newest version...can't play!!

I keep getting a failed update through the Google play store. It downloads 42.26MBs patch.

It tries to update the game, downloading and then installs, but comes up with an error(s).

Either "Error Code" 907 or 963.

I am using a Verizon, Samsung Galaxy Note 4, Stock.

I fear uninstalling will delete an account (device or FB)

Anyone know how to restore your account. I want to try uninstalling but am afraid I will lose my content. Just one hour before I miss my rewards.

You should be able to uninstall without fear of losing you content. You can even clear your cache and won't lose it. I believe they store your content on their end and verify it via ESN/IMEI. I remember trying to start over once I realized I was using my precious s to level Nissa, because she was the default PW; uninstalling and clearing the cache won't do it. What I learned was that you have to submit a request to D3 and they will do it for you and strongly warn of the ramifications (i.e. losing all your current content).

Created an account to post this, as I had this issue ever since the patch Thursday night.

I had the same error, on the same phone (Note 4). I ended up trying to uninstall and reinstall since i had the issues updating the app. Had the same issues on reinstall. Rebooting didn't help, neither did clearing the cache for google play store.

Ended up fixing it by unmounting my SD card in the settings->storage menu, then installing. This allowed me to install the app again.

BEWARE: I don't know how this will affect your data if you don't have your account linked to something, like facebook. I was able to just sign in with facebook again and was fine, but not sure how it works if you dont have that link.

Welp, no luck. I uninstalled and it's worse...now I can't even re install it just fails with the same error codes.

I cleared my Google play cache, and restarted and even a shutdown. Nothing seems to be working

Yup unmounting totally worked! Thanks a bunch, god that was fustrating as all get out.

I unmounted my SD Card as well and was able to successfully download.

No help from the Devs, but then I'm not surprised. It makes no sense that this should allow the download to install.

I will be submitting a ticket and we'll see what happens. Missed out on several days because I couldn't get in the game.

I had a similar issue with Marvel PQ. I fixed it changing default memory from external to internal, without unmounting anything.
