Post 1.3.1, I, with my level 50 Chandra, got paired against a level 1 Chandra in quick battle.

Edit: Level 1 Gideon a few matches later.

Seems to happen approximately 15-30% of the time.

WAI? With the new reward-based-on-PW-level model it creates even more incentive to level your PW if you want participate in QB. Now high-level PWs are rewarded more per win and can win more frequently because they may face PWs with lower HP pools. Seems a good idea to me and I don't even run a L50 PW.

Perhaps the game thinks that 1 is the next level after 50

Did not happen to my level 40s yet.

ALL of my matches with my level 50 Planeswalkers have been against opponents under level 5.
The games are ridiculously quick.

In another part of the forum someone mentioned that his low level ran into a level 50.

I like to find ways to use a system to get the maximum out of it. But I don't like to use bugs or lose to players using bugs , not that the players can do anything about it.

1.31 gave us good reasons to level up. This bug should not beone of them.

This has to be fixed asap!
