Color tanking

My Classic Storm is presently at level 74 because that's where her blue match power is equal to Captain America's blue match power. I can put Cap in the "front" slot, then, and he'll "tank" for Storm by stepping to the front on blue matches, which she is inordinately fond of.

I suspect that part of the balance of Classic Storm is that her blue puts her in danger, but it made me wonder... are there "tanks" for each color? It seems to me that there should be, if only to make different teams potentially viable. Cap tanks yellow pretty well, the Hulk is pretty clearly a green tank, maybe Dr. Doom for blue? I do wish there were tanks for each color in each star tier... but then, I'd rework that from the ground up and have all characters in the same power band. The power difference between a 1 star and a 4 star (at level cap) is counterproductive to making a varied and healthy roster, just from a design standpoint. (Never mind the pain in acquiring and leveling rarer characters.)

I'm using the data from my roster and Thor and the single star covers are the only ones maxed. The colors in parenthesis are their strong damage per tile colors, in order of strength. Rag only has two strong DPT colors and they're both at secondary strength, so he's a little tougher to tank with; without a level advantage. So every color is in the list, but black doesn't have a tank with black as their strongest color, in fact, Punisher is the only cover with black as their primary color (fyi, 42.1 HP/Lvl @ lvl 69).

You have to get a 3* to tank C storms blue.

dr doom, the hood, IM40, c mags, can all tank for c storm.

no 2* has a 50 strength in blue.
