5DeadlyVenoms Alliance - 5 Alliances- One Spot for 5DV!

edited July 2014 in MPQ Alliances
The 5DeadlyVenoms are recruiting!

We are looking for someone that has either (a) a VERY strong roster (3 characters at combined level of 330 to start) or (b) resources that are unique and hard to replicate (are you an experienced web developer or know how to manage and customize forums? Do you have Infinite time or resources at your disposal? Make a case for yourself.

This is an elite alliance, all our members place top in tournaments, play daily and communicate with each other through a dedicated FB group. We also have a website in construction.

Benefits of Joining Us:
1) You don't get Attacked on PVP tournaments
2) Collaboration to bring down common targets in unbrackets tournaments (coordinates strikes on deshielded opponents would be a good example)
3) Shared Resources (strategies, communication, additional assistance)

We try to swap rewards only with other alliance members, we expect the same from every new member interested.

Thanks,
Lord Klingsor

  • I have Nathans old alliance and would like to become a sister alliance ..I just need to know when to kick people..just have some randoms in it right now.
Anyways the alliance name is drop dead.
  • NAP part is something I really hate especially if it is over many alliances. It did not get long to take it to the dark side of alliances.

I understand and if it becomes an issue we can always change it. At least in an alliance network you can say "hey dude, please stop attacking me."

    Section 9 - Sister Alliance of 5DeadlyVenoms

Currently at 5/5 but with two spots open for who wants them. Recruiting active Euro players with 3* teams.

    Report for duty!
  • 5DeadlyVenoms just got a little deadlier...

    Enter the AsianInvasion...

    Sister alliances should be named:

    5DV Centipede
    5DV Snake
    5DV Scorpion
    5DV Lizard
    5DV Toad

Nice, although I think Toad's are technically poisonous not venomous (have to inject venom, if you eat them, they are poisonous)

I was just going of the wiki. Had to google 5 Deadly Venoms, I initially thought it was in reference to assassins from Kill Bill...
Each of the Poison Clan is alternatively referred to as either their venom style code name, or as their number in regard to the order of being taught by the master (except Yan, who is never referred to as "Number 6", nor has any particular animal style). Among fans, he is known as "Hybrid Venom," as his training contains a little bit of each of the five styles, but it is incomplete, and he must align with one of the venoms to stand a chance against any of the others.

Number 1: Centipede Wriggly and quick, this style is a nice blend of defensive and offensive posturing. The strikes are so fast that it is almost as if he has a hundred arms and legs. The weakness of this style as revealed by Yan Tieh (told by his master) is to attack both the opponent's upper and lower body in a simultaneous assault.

Number 2: Snake On one hand: the mouth, venomous fangs emulated in precise finger motor control. On the other: the stinging whip of a rattling tail. Masters of this ability can even fight extremely well while lying on their back from the floor. The weakness of this style as revealed by Yan Tieh (told by his master) is to stop the "head" and "tail" (the opponent's two arms) from combining, as neither the head nor tail can function well individually.

Number 3: Scorpion The scorpion represents a double threat! Kicks from the Scorpion style are just like the stinging tail of the namesake. When delivered by a master, a single kick can paralyze or even kill, let alone the strong pincer-style attack of the arms to contend with. The weakness in this style is not clearly revealed as Yan Tieh is cut off from his explanation but one can assume (by watching The Scorpion in his bout with Yan Tieh and The Lizard) that it would be to stay out of reach of The Scorpion's damaging kicks and make him come to you.

Number 4: Lizard An emphasis on speed and gravity, the Lizard style is best known for the ability to walk on walls, and can fight with ease from such positions.

Number 5: Toad Toads don't do much, but they are tough. That is the essence of this style, a primarily defensive pose. The Toad is invincible to just about any form of attack, including blades and puncture. They can even bend solid metal. The weakness of this style is that any master of the Toad style has a "weak spot" that when punctured, drains the user's Toad style benefits (most notably the iron skin.) Number 5's weak spot were his ears as shown in his fight with The Snake, when The Scorpion secretly struck his ears with his darts. Some thought the way to discover the weak spot in one's Toad style is to use an Iron Maiden. But when Number 5 was first placed in the Iron Maiden, he was impervious to the needles. The Iron Maiden's needles only penetrated the Toad after the Scorpion and Snake exploited his weak spot, the ears, with darts and a snake strike.

Yeah, I'm a martial arts movie fan. I quote Pai Mei type dialog to people, all the time. Like "Do you know that I kill at will?" (From Kill Bill 2)
  • XarXar, if you see this PM me your FB name.
  • i'll join, player name is eddu

    I have a 117 hulk and a few *** lvl90

    pm me
  • Interested. Only been playing for 3 weeks. Still building, but finishing consistently in the top 30 (sometimes higher) in the more recent events. I realize my roster is not yet full of 100+ player, but it shouldn't take much longer as I play daily and have made enough of an investment that I am not going to stop now.

PM me if you space is available. Take a chance.
  • Day 1 player here. Mostly a forum lurker but I do post from time to time. I have a pretty solid leveled out roster of 2*'s in the 50-65 range with ~4-5 at 85 and a handful of 3*'s that still need quite a bit of work (mostly in the 30-40 range). I play at least a couple of hours a day, but I do play every day. If I can be useful, sign me up. In game name is also Mondo so feel free to check out the roster if you come across me.
  • Interested in joining. Would likely need to be placed in a junior alliance as my roster is at that 85-100 range you mentioned.

Apparently there is a minimum number of posts or a time requirement before you can send PMs, because it won't let me PM you...I'll make some random posts and try again. If that fails PM me and maybe it will let me reply.
  • I'm up if there is an empty space icon_e_biggrin.gif
111 Patch (leveling - full covers)
88 Punisher (leveling - full covers)
    66 Hulk (WIP)
    All heroes except XF-Wolverine

    I play every day.
