New here, any tips on how I can progress my team?
What I currently Have:
1*
Lv. 40 Storm 5/3/5
Lv. 30 Iron Man 4/4/5
2*
Lv. 36 Storm 1/4/2
Lv. 24 Hawkeye 2/2/2
Lv. 24 Magneto 2/3/0
Lv. 19 Moonstone 2/1/2
3*
Lv. 28 Spider-Man 0/2/1
Lv. 18 Iron Man 0/1/1
Lv. 18 The Hood 0/1/1
Lv. 18 Wolverine 1/0/1
Lv. 15 Black Widow 1/0/0
Lv. 15 Daredevil 0/1/0
Lv. 15 Magneto 1/0/0
Lv. 15 The Hulk 0/0/1
Stuff to claim
3 2* Wolverine (2Yellow 1Red)
1 2* Bullseye (1Black)
1 1* Black Widow (1Blue)
I've got no more roster space, and I was thinking of adding Wolverine in place of maybe Daredevil (never used it, doesn't seem that good), but any recommendations on how to proceed with my team? I usually use IM35/C. Storm/Magneto Now to fight, with Magneto using its pink ability to create lots of blue and using C. Storm's blue, while IM35 is there really only to tank hits whenever it gets a chance (rarely) and do the occasional yellow ability.

It seems to me like you're loaded down with a lot of three-star characters that'll be useful in the long run, while two-star characters are what'll be easier for you to build up right now for an immediate return. Difficult to just throw any of them away, though....
Getting Wolverine in there is a good idea -- are those covers from the Prologue? If not, you'll be able to get those as well. Under the circumstances, I wouldn't claim the Bullseye or Modern Widow.0 -
I haven't checked, but I'm pretty sure one or two of the Astonishing Wolverines were from events, since I placed decently on the last few events. I haven't played the prologue much (still haven't unlocked the last one yet) so there should be quite a few characters I can still get from the prologue. Should I get the Wolverine and selling away my Daredevil? I know I have a lot of 3*, since I can't exactly bear to sell them away. At this point, I'm most excited about making The Hood and Spider-Man for my 3*s, since the dual pistol skill that Hood has seems very interesting especially since it also gains AP and Spider-Man can also combo well with my Magneto Now's ability to generate blue and stun the enemy.0

I'd consider selling Daredevil long-term, but wait until after the current Brotherhood event to do so because he's required on a number of missions. If you can generate enough HP to get roster slots, selling him will be unnecessary.
Being able to get in on a lot of those missions means more points on those sites.
More points on those sites means you may end up in the top 10 of your 200 and get hero points which you can use for roster slots.
It should cost you 200-250 HP to get your next few roster slots but it will be worth it in the long-run if you can add a few to get some **s on your roster.
If you haven't fully finished the prologue yet, you can get HP from a few particular missions as well as covers for **s such as Daken, Wolverine, and Thor.
As far as your rewards, I'd say to sell Bullseye and modern Widow while adding Wolverine when you get a roster spot.
I'd also say the following-
1. Consider doing a respec on modern Storm and Iron Man to 5-5-3 each. I find that modern Storm's ability to destroy environment tiles gets extremely useful as you raise her level and can use her on boards such as the desert to generate a lot of environmental effects such as Oasis.
2. I'd probably stop putting ISO into Moonstone and Hawkeye in favor of your other * and ** characters. Neither is particularly useful in PVP, though Moonstone can be useful if you're doing PVE or a villain tournament.
3. In addition to Wolverine, consider trying to add Thor or Daken. Daken, when properly powered up, will be your tank and produce a ton of red strike tiles whenever anyone makes a green match. Both his abilities are passive, so every green match he makes will end up being used as fuel for Storm's thunderbolts.
The main issue with him, though, is that you need to keep an eye on how many yellow tiles are on the board, ESPECIALLY at the lower levels of his black passive ability. His ability to self-heal makes him a perfect tank if you can use him properly, but having him get damage from Heat due to insufficient yellow tiles is a **** when you need to have 8+ of them on the board each turn.0 -
Oh man, I remember getting a bunch of Dakens and selling all of them as I thought that having an all passive, 10 slot and also potential self-damage is awful, despite its potentials as a tank. I also sold a bunch of Thors that I received, since I didn't have space and their 7 days were almost up (I remember getting like a Thor every day or something right around the time I got a bunch of 3*s, so I just sold them all).
For Storm and Iron Man, I must admit that I made a genuine mistake when I chose to give 5 to black as I quickly learned of how valuable its red was (ever since I found Iron Man's red DPS was not high enough for me and its awesome combo with other environment tiles). As for Iron Man, I accidentally added the extra blue ability, and am very glad that they recently introduced the ability to respec. I'll respec it as soon as I get the other red and yellow covers.
I put ISOs on Moonstone because it played a big part for me during the Simulator, and I have stopped pumping the ISO on her since. I loved her Photon Blast doing tons of damage when she had the buff during the event.
I'm sold on selling Daredevil, but doing it after the event, as you said, because I need it to do some of the missions. I haven't finished the Prologue yet (in fact I haven't unlocked the last part), but I've gotten most of the Hero Points that I have access to right now. I did get a few Top 10s during the Simulator, so that really helped my roster tons.
Anyway, thanks for the feedback!0 -
I don't know if I should be bumping this thread or be making a new thread, but let's just try bumping first. I now have 16 slots, so a new slot will now cost me 250 HP. I have a single free space, and this is what I have now:
1*
Storm 40 5/5/3
IM 35 32 5/5/3
2*
Storm 42 1/5/2
Magneto 37 2/3/2
Captain 29 3/2/0
Hawkeye 24 2/2/2
Thor 21 0/3/0
Wolverine 16 0/2/3
3*
Spiderman 28 0/2/1
Iron Man 40 18 0/1/1
The Hood 18 0/1/1
Wolverine 18 1/0/1
Black Widow 15 1/0/0
Magneto 15 1/0/0
Psylocke 15 1/0/0
Other Rewards:
2*
Green Ares
3*
Green Punisher
Black Loki
Red IM40
More tips on how to progress? I know I probably shouldn't have leveled Cap so high, but he's my favourite character and I really couldn't help it. I'd rather not sell him.
Also, I have a free space, should I take Ares, Punisher, or Loki? And about the Red IM40, should I sell it? Selling it only nets me 500 ISO now though, instead of some HP also0 -
May as well use the Red IM40, I think. Unless you're planning to dump the character entirely, all you'd get is an amount of ISO that you could fairly easily make up elsewhere.
Loki isn't that popular -- he has fairly specific support powers, and with only two powers he tops out at level 115 instead of 141 like most other 3-star characters. And I think you should pick Punisher over Ares. You probably won't be able to power Punisher up so fast, but he's often a required character in PvE, and you already have some partly developed two-star characters who have about the same potential as Ares.0
