Miles Morales in Galactus

Correct me if I'm wrong, please, but my understanding was that in the Galactus storyline, any version of a mission character could be used for that mission. For example, if the essential character is Wolverine in that particular Galactus mission, then any version of Wolverine could be used. At least it seemed that way before. If this is the case, however, then I should be able to use Miles Morales in the Spider-Man missions. (He's the only one I have as he's the only version suited to my playing style.) I was a bit let down to find that I couldn't use him on the Spider-Man missions, though. Is this an incorrect assumption on my part, or is it possibly something that could be "fixed" in a future updates of my assumption is correct?

    i can assume that "spider-man" was to be linked to peter parker. and like u said miles is a different character with spider-man name.

    Amadeus Cho can't be played with Bruce Banner though, which is a huge mistake IMO.
