Pattern of destruction

This has to have been suggested before, and I don't get why it hasn't been implemented yet. When selecting a tile for the basis of a skill that destroys tiles in a pattern around that selected tile (GSBW Sniper Rifle for instance), why not make the affected tiles in the pattern flash while you're positioning the center. That way you can easily see which tiles are going to be destroyed. You already have the tech for making tiles flash! Would be a huge quality of life improvement!
