Corrupted Save on Steam

Logged in on Saturday to get a message "Save file corrupted." Everything is gone. What a nightmare- I've been playing for over 2 years and was coming up on day 760 in the daily resupply.

I play on Steam, so there's no facebook backup. I sent in a ticket but haven't heard back yet.

Has anyone had this happen and been able to recover?

had this twice about year ago - never lost roster but was unable to gain levels/iso/covers etc - after restart game would revert to state it was in when first happened.

CS sorted it out in the end but couldn't play for 2 seasons & lost my top 10 Alliance spot as a result.
