Defensive Champions

Most defensive champions are seen as low tier. Spiderman, Invisible Woman, etc.
IMHO I think this is because you need to make their defense comparable to the offense offensive characters provide.

For example, throwing out a 252 strength defense tile for 7 AP at max Level is nothing compared to dealing 5000 damage with 7AP.
You need to create something that could "parry" or "counter" these attacks. Something a bit more like Elektra's black.
A countdown tile that last for 3 turns that negates 5k damage on an ability for instance.
Or a defense tile worth 1-2k.
Considering the defensive/support character has no offensive wouldn't this be a better balance for them?
Granted it would completely change people perceive team compositions but would definitely make IW more viable.

I have once faced with lv 180-ish 3* Cap and 3* Falcon plus 3* Mag. It took forever before I lost, eventually.
