Has anyone been able to update? or is this another example of empty promises?

From what I understand, they are in California. That means it's just now 8 AM there. Now, while I'm pretty used to waking up and starting work at 6 AM, that's likely not something you see from a whole lot of game design companies. I believe the update will come in between 3 hours from now and 8 hours from now.

Well in my experience from MPQ the updates rolled out automatically usually around midnight or so THE night of release

MarvelPQ updates usually go live in the Play store after 2 PM EST.

Odd. I remembered them coming out around noon Mountain time. Been awhile since I played tho.

However, the servers are down for maintenance for MtgPQ. I'm assuming they are working on getting the update in right now

Isn't noon MT 2:00 ET?

I hope the patch also gives you a button to close the app when you get the Maintenance message. It's kind of dumb that it keeps trying to reconnect when I hit the back button.
