Leaderboard resets

Since I started playing, the leaderboard has remained the same, obviously players are moving on it...me for one...but it says that it will reset...and hasn't yet as far as I can see.
I only found out today that this is one leader board of many out there. icon_e_surprised.gif
Do we change boards now and again or stay with the same one?
Does it ever take us back to ground zero?
Is there a global stat leader board out there?
I thought it a bit unusual that there were only 998 players playing in the world...how many are there and where am I globally...in the game I mean, to forestall any smart butt answers.. icon_e_biggrin.gif

    You only see the player in your bracket, which are roughly 1000 people each. So yea there are way more than 1000 players.

    Supposedly the leaderboard resets will happen with the next updates, and rewards will start being handed out. I think they're saying the leaderboard should reset 2-3 times a week from then on.
