Need more progression rewards

I love winning progression rewards! However my excitement about an event (pve, pvp, season etc) greatly wanes once I've won all the progression rewards. Then there's no real point to continue playing, other than to show my alliance that I care.

I find placement rewards to be mostly pointless. It's impossible to place highly in pve unless you spend 5+ hours a day playing, and it's impossible to place highly in pvp unless you spend a ton of money on shields. And for what, a few more 4* covers? Not worth it for the effort.

It would be great if there was some kind of repeating reward after the final progression reward to make it all seem worth it. Perhaps every ___ points after the final reward, you get one more CP! Something like that so it doesn't seem totally pointless. Something to keep me going into the night...
