Who to use with Thor and Hulk?

So the two characters I'm most interested to use is Thor and Hulk. I have Thor with a 3/5/5 build and Hulk just starting off at 0/1/4. I fell like Hulk will be a great tank and will feed Thor nicely.

My question is, who should be my third to round out the team. I love the idea of using Classic Storm with a 3/5/5 build. But that does limit me to just four colors of the power rainbow...red, yellow, green, blue.

Any thoughts on this team? Does anyone else run these guys together, who might be able to tell me how they mesh? icon_question.gif

    Haven't used Thor and Hulk together, the combo seems somewhat slow to me. If your Hulk is high enough level then most of the enemy attacks won't trigger his Anger without someone like Patch giving the enemy strike tiles.

    Though if you do want to try out these two together I would lean towards OBW as that covers your two missing colors Blue and Purple with good abilities.

    Its been interesting to pair thor and hulk for the fresh cut tourney, as most opponents don't have a psylock with more than one cover. That leaves them with their two strongest characters to do the bulk of the fighting. So far I've tried my Thor/Hulk team against a number of players that are leveled quite a bit higher than my guys. But my pair has won out all but one time.

    I'm really liking these two together, just gotta work out the third. Your widow suggestion sounds very promising icon_e_biggrin.gif Thanks

    Another option - since you'll be matching a lot of green - would be Daken.

    icon_twisted.gif I LOVE IT! It does limit me to red,green,yellow...but the strike tile would pile up fast. I'll give it a try. Thanks!

    Playing Thor with Hulk is kind of redundant. They're both tanky generators of green with slow developing offense.

    I think Patch and Hulk are a match made in heaven. Berserker Rage gives the enemy strike tiles so their matches will trigger Hulk Anger, but they do not augment the damage done vs your team, but the friendly strike tiles do augment the damage done to the enemy.

    If you don't have a suitable Patch built, Ares is a nice complement to take advantage of Hulk's green generating ability.

    I also like using Punisher as Hulk will tank Red and Green for Punisher allowing him to build up AP for his skills without taking hits.

    Unless they're your highest leveled characters I wouldn't use them together.

    If you're set on using Thor and Hulk, I'd give serious consideration to using GSBW as your third character. She uses her Purple to generate green tiles, which there should be lots of on the board, and if you're willing to wait to hit 19 green AP, her Sniper Rifle skill is far superior to Call The Storm (at max level it'll deal over 3k damage to all opponents). That's pretty much a match ending move in most cases.

    It would be a slow team though, but with Hulk and Thor you'd have plenty of health for your opponents to wade through. Just be careful if you're using that team against another who also likes green. An opponent with Ares would probably love facing you.

    Obw or gsbw. Tile damage for uncovered colors and pink and blue powers. The ever popular spider man would work there too. If your rooster isn't that developed, obw would probably be the easiest to add. AP stealing and heals are pretty useful, especially for what would otherwise be dead colors to you.
