Got the IM40 yellow cover today, which now makes two that I've got rotting in my queue as I debate whether or not to champ him and wait to hear about any possible buffs.

Totally. I've got 4 in my queue at the moment, but I've already got mine at 5/5/3. Leveled at 130. Debating whether to spend the iso to get him up to 166 just to get the LT.

What a ridiculously hard first wave at "The Big Enchilada"! They beat my favourite DDQ-Team (L168 3*Thor, L167 Daredevil, L101 OBW) twice in a row. icon_e_surprised.gif

I've got a different dilemma...I'm wondering if i should just toss my lv120 5/5/3 IM40 and roster the single yellow cover won from DDQ.

    1) i could really do with the iso
    2) i hardly use IM40
    3) it'll take till next year till i hit lv183 for that first Hulkbuster cover
    4) 0/0/1 IM40 is a very efficient red battery

Or maybe i should just sell that yellow cover for 500 Iso. Or maybe i should just champion him and try out a 5/4/4. Decisions, decisions

If you use OML, having im40 at a higher yellow is very do-able, since OML will tank it all.

Yeah, a bad board on this one can beat you no matter how good your team is. I generally use 3* Thor, OBW & Moonstone against the ninjas/muscles. Using AP boosts makes winning more reliable, although doing so will reduce your iso-gain from DDQ--it depends on how much frustration I'm willing to put up with. I don't have a usable X-Force Wolverine, but BlackBolt's team also looks good.

The Teisatsu + Muscle waves always seem to show up for the Iron Fist cover days, don't they? I use hulk/Thor/Cap for BE, just let Hulk take the (many) early hits and you'll have 2 Call the storms banked in no time. Once Cap gets his blue going, the ninja attack tiles will barely make a dent.

For ninja days i always use my 5/2/1 Xverine, MNMags, and CStorm. All three have great boardshake abilities (and AP generation), so you have a high chance of getting rid of opposing strike and attack tiles. MNMags is a great battery for Storm's blue and his own red. Switch between Xverine's and Storm's green depending or whether you need to do lots of damage, or gain AP. By the final round i usually have enough for two successive Windstorms, two successive X-Forces, two successive Surgical Strikes, and a Magnetic Flux

    Thanks, that helped me.

Apropos of the recent (and ongoing) IM40 discussion, I'll reiterate IMO the best team to use to beat Teisatsu Enchiladas: LCap, Hood, and IM40 (ideally at */*/2). You rush yellow in the beginning so that you'll have both Cap's blue and red ready to roll (Hood expedites AP accumulation), then do the stun/kill combo on the Teisatsus at your convenience.

I'm going to miss this combo if/when I add that yellow cover to Tony.

Because there are 40 3*'s and DDQ is on a 10-day rotation, the same characters always have the same event each time they cycle. This means it will generally be harder to get some characters than others in the Big Enchilada (assuming you have a harder time with ninjas & muscles than, say, Doombots, which seems to be true for most people). On the other hand, there isn't a worry about having the essential character fight themselves in Third Time's The Charm (and the game seems to have generally moved beyond 3* characters), so this is unlikely to change any time soon.

For the time being, Iron Fist, Blade, Rocket & Groot and Dr Doom will always have 2x ninjas + muscle to start BE and Quicksilver, Colossus, She-Hulk and Falcon will always have 3x ninjas to start BE.
  • For Teisatsu and Muscle I use Moonstone + Ares + OBW. 100% successful.
