Suicidal Opponents

Now most if not all of us have had a good laugh at the UI for doing stupid things like buffing or weakening disabled creatures or Chandra destroying a support with the spell that does 3 damage to herself when she has 3 or less life, but I've noticed 2 instances today of something that shouldn't be happening


1st, Nissa had 2 life, and brought out that 4/4 that destroys one of my supports. It happened to be the one that gave me +3/+3 for one creature, +2/+2 if I had 2, etc

I noticed when she cast it, when she destroyed my support, she took 2 damage and lost on her turn

Thinuking maybe I had missed something, I continues to play

Just now, I got Jace down to 1 life, and he made a blue match to destroy his Claustrophobia support, and when he did, he took 1 damage and died

Maybe I'm missing something, but I've never noticed anyone taking damage for destroying supports with matches.

Anyone else seeing this?

I am happy this seems to only be happening to opponents, but kind of feel cheated out of a win. Can someone tell me if this is supposed to be happening?
